gonna read the on a portion uh bo the meaning in hebrew uh in english of the word bo is to come and i want to share with you uh this screen before i will uh i will uh i will start to to talk let's see if i can oh i can see myself here ah nice all right uh i'm trying i'm trying to to to it's a new it's a new uh thing for me let's see all right maybe i will be here okay all right so uh we're gonna read in uh in this potion ball uh something very interesting because we see uh uh that god uh it just uh um finish to give the plugs it's not finished in the middle of of the plugs to uh to egypt and now paro again telling to modest that he will let the jewish the hebrew people to to leave egypt and then he said no and here we're gonna see something very interesting and it's not just like this that this portion called bo um the reason why this portion called bo is because that the word bo come it's very unique um because we i think that if i will send moses so i think that i will telling him uh go but here we see that god telling to moses we can see it in chapter one in a [Music] 11 uh verse we can see that god telling moses come to parole and a lot a lot a lot of people that rabbis and people in the history try to understand why god telling to moses bo what is the meaning of this word and there is a lot a lot a lot of explanation and i will bring some of them um but the the things that i can i can tell you for sure is that it's not just like this there's a there is a deep meaning in every word of the of the torah and the first explanation that we can see in the in the secrets of the torah is that this in this moment until today uh moses went to parole and talked to him and told him what god sent him to do but this time in this level of plugs is the level when um he started to understand that god is exist we saw it in the in last week in the portion and from this moment god need to be part of the um the speaking with paul and what is the meaning that god is telling to moses come to parole the meaning we can understand it like come with me let's go together so what what can we learn from from this small world we can learn that in our life when we are um in a process with ourself and we are trusting god first we we will feel alone in our mission like moses it was at the beginning it went to to the jewish to hebrew people and told them trust me i will take you out from egypt and then [Music] make it harder for for the hebrew people and moses coming back to to to god i'm telling why you sent me now it's much harder for the for the hebrew people and after and he felt alone i'm sure that's why i come back to to god and all with all the plugs that we see until today we see that he's going along to to to paro and then he coming back to to to god but after he went to all this process god telling him all right now i see that after all this work that you did i'm coming with you to this fight because now paul is understanding because of you that i am exist and now is my moment after all your work that you bring my name to all of the world because you know moses talked to paul and paul is the one that lead the world in these days so if paulo understands there is god so all the world understand that now after moses did this important thing now god can come with him to paul yeah come with him because god is everywhere and we know that he's [Music] uh but but there is a a lot of of of secrets here um the second thing that i saw about this word combo is that when you when you say uh for someone that he's uh is bo it's come when it comes and it's not it's not going it's this is something that it's very very different uh to come it's something very different than to go to go is you you say to someone go when you want when you don't know what will be or when you go to to a mission and you can pray that it will work but when you say to someone come it's like you invited someone this is the second explanation and when you invite when you invite someone it means that you are much much more sure about the the result of this meeting so this is like two uh different translation as i'm telling you every week when we read the torah on shabbat there is so many explanation for each word in each and the beautiful the beauty of of our torah is that according to the jewish faith we believe that in we can live together with all the different explanation and every one of each explanation is is a different level of understanding of god but it's all work together i get a lot of uh question every week um how can it be that you're telling something and then eliezer telling something uh different and you both of you telling to each other i'm agree with you wow it's beautiful but what is the truth and the truth is that it's all true all the different explanation it's all true now i want to speak with you about uh uh the other things that's happening so we see in in our portion that uh god um uh sending after uh that uh telling that he's not going to to uh to let the the hebrew people go and he's sending him the uh la cost help me with his english and he's not letting the people the hebrew people go to go and then he's giving giving him the darkness the darkness it's a very interesting um there's a lot of things in this in this plug in the darkness uh on egypt because we know that uh in this according to the jewish fate we know that in the darkness plug four percent from five five four four uh it's like eighty percent of the hebrew people died in the darkness uh uh plug but it and that's why god gave the darkness because he didn't want the egypt people to see um that eighty percent of the hebrew people died and it was kind of preparation of the of the exodus and this is something that for me it's very hard to to understand but there is a lot of uh but but the the the like the simple uh answer for this why not all the hebrew people left egypt is because that eighty percent of the hebrew people didn't want to leave egypt and all of them died in the plug of the darkness and this is something that i know that a lot of you don't know and maybe you never heard about it um so i'm here to tell you this is the jewish tradition that what's happened in the darkness and of course that god didn't know that all the world will know that they all died and that's why it was like uh three days of darkness and another three days of darkness as we know that all the plugs was seven days like a week and then three weeks of of of uh that the plug stops so it's months and another month so if we're talking about um 10 plugs so it's almost a year uh so after the darkness star uh the hebrew people uh moses coming to paul paul telling him um i don't want to see your face anymore and mode is telling him you're right you won't see my face anymore and then um go away from me we can see it here let's watch with me um go away from me uh beware you should no longer see my face for know the day that you see my face you should die and mother say you spoke correctly i should no longer see your face and this is bring us to to the to the next uh plug [Music] that the must the most like hard plug that we we we saw um that god gonna kill all the firstborn uh of the egypt people um in the night and then the hebrew people will live and we i have another two things to to say about the blood because god asking the hebrew people first before the before they leaving um to um to do brit mila this is the first thing that have a connection to blood and the second thing is to take the blood of the sheep and to put on their doors and then in the night of the first born plug it will uh pass over the doors of the hebrew people and that's why we call to pesach the whole the holiday pesach passover because he passed on the doors of the hebrew people and the reason why they use the ship blood is because that in egypt the ships was a holy animal so we will see in the future and and in in the portions and of course that we are praying to see it soon in the temple that the hebrew people sacrifice ships because of this memory of the exodus uh from the beliefs on this animal so this is why uh i know maybe not all of you know knew it um all right now uh it's gonna be our last uh subject for today because eliza is not going to join us today you have some he had something so for me i just uh prepared uh something uh very very uh interesting uh for you i wanted to speak um i hope it will be interesting for you i wanted to speak about power because i think that most of the time we're talking about the hebrew people we're talking about moses um but i think that there is like a big and a deep message that we can learn from about what is to [Music] to be in in the bad side and what is to to do bad things and what's happened when you decided to go uh and to do bad things what's happened to you because it's it's something that for me it's so hard to see i don't know if it's if it's for you to uh i want to to show you here um watch with me please here god telling to moses come to paul for i for i have hard nerd his heart like why god need to to do these things for parole like you can you can feel sometimes like god is kind of uh of er like pow is kind of a victim because why god doing this for him and for me it was very interesting and i made like a very uh big research and i looked all over the the places uh through the to the jewish uh translation explanations uh that the secrets be done behind and and i i think that i understood something very very very important about what is to um to um when god is um hardened the heart of the of the evil people but what is the meaning and why we need to learn it and one we need to be very careful with our behavior we have in our body like let's say the part of the of the heart that have a good um that give us good advices to to choose the good things and we have another part in our heart that help us to choose the the bad things help us i don't know if it's if it's help the the part in our heart that control the bad things is coming from i don't want to get into it but from some places and the part of our in our heart that control the good things is controlled by the head so i can say that it's kind of a fight between the head and the heart when we are walking from our head that's where the godly soul is working in our body when we can get we can make good decisions and when we are working from our heart sometimes we can get a bad decisions but the the things that we want to do is to take the part in our heart that is telling us good things and to connect him with our uh uh head and like to win the bad things in our body in our soul the telling that uh directing us to to do bad things and from here until uh uh here uh it's something from the chassidut it's called in the in the from the secrets of of the of the bible of the the tradition the the jewish traditions what is it what what is the the hardness of the heart we understand that i don't know if you ever felt it when you do good things and you know that you are in a good way sometimes you feel like god is joining you and it's have a deep connection to the name of this portion bo when moses do his mission now in this portion god telling him i'm going to join you and you i will give you more and more blessings so you see i'm sure that you see around you and maybe you felt in yourself when you do good things god is joining you and help you to do more and more good things and it's becoming more and more in your nature to do good things and it's become more and more it's it's become easier for you to do good things and to you feel god with you all the time the more you do that you're doing a good things and it's the same things with the bad things when you are going to to the evil when you decide when you decide to go with yourself and to do bad things so god is helping you it's not helping you but it's becoming harder and harder for you to to to go back and this is the meaning of the hardness of power because paro made a terrible things he decided to kill all the firstborn the all the all the the the the males he decided to to he it was very evil not only for the hebrew people but of course to the the hebrew people mostly and the more he become more and more evil it was harder for him to go back and this is the the message that i think that i want to bring you today from this portion sometimes we're telling to ourselves in our beliefs ah that's okay leave it this is not so important leave this live this we need to remember that when we are starting to do bad things for people bad things to our soul everyone with this uh with in his level it's kind of something that we need to know that it will be harder and harder for us the more that we will go deeper to go back and at the same time when we are doing a good things and when we are going we are doing a good decision with our belief it's becoming more and more easy for us to do good things and hard to do bad things it's become more nature natural for us and this is the deep meaning of what is the hardener of the heart of paro as i think uh [Music] that this is the message that we need to take from it um and this is the the the lesson that we need to to to learn here in this portion and now i will read your uh comments uh if you bible when we say um uh we're talking about the the darkness the dark uh a plug and mamash is there there there's two meanings for it it's like really dark this is the first meaning of mamash and the second thing is like mamash is to uh i don't know the city language but when you feel in your hands something um when you touch it so they had to to touch with their hands because they didn't see anything so it was a very very uh um dark uh i want one of your hats can we buy online away from youtube this way won't have the tube to take some of the money from you i don't know it's something new parole there is a moment in our life when it's kind of almost impossible and that's why when we we see people that was in a very uh bad places in their life and they're coming back to to their beliefs or maybe they're doing a big change in in their life it's it's something that it's like very impressing because the more that you are in in the evil side of the of the life of your decisions is the
