A Crown on my Head!

Baruch atah, Adonai, Eloheinu, Melech ha'olam, oter Yisrael b'tifarah. Blessed are thou, Lord our God, King of the universe, who crowns Israel with splendor. And how are we crowned? Well, a crown's going on your head. And what do Jews have on their head? So, maybe they have a hat. Maybe they've got to fill in or maybe they have a kippah. Um these are things of splendor. And we should be proud to wear a crown out in the public and not be ashamed. And when a person wears a crown, if you have a real king out there with a crown on his head, people are going to respect that. They're going to say, "Wow, it's a king." They're not going to um disrespect it. And so too with the Jews. If we go out into the public amongst the nations of the world, and we have our crowns on our head, then we will too will be respected. But we'll also make sure to do the right thing because we're going to be out there and everyone will know we're Jewish and if we're going to be going going to non-kosher restaurants, then people will say, "Hey, this isn't correct. He's got a crown on his head as a Jew and he's trying to eat in my non-kosher restaurant. I can't let that happen." Ooh. Thanks for watching. Have a wonderful day.
