A Perspective on the Current Times - Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier

I would like to share with you a perspective on the current times there's an awful lot going on an awful lot of questions that we need to ask that we should ask and what I'd like to do is step back step back to 35,000 ft and view this from a historical perspective and try to put the current situation in a much more clearly defined light and to do that I'd like to begin with aish mosu in his very the internet but if you do go to memory and you'll see what they do is they take the Palestinian videos and they translate that so you understand what's being spoken about and I've seen this quite a number of times the conversation between two Palestinian men well-dressed articulate and one says to the other these Israelis these Jews they're such fools they love life we Palestinians we love death we love nothing more than dying for our homeland that's what every Palestinian mother lives for for her child to die to be a martyr these fool Israelis they love life we Palestinians love death my friends that is rather peculiar it is inexplicable and according to the ways of the world it makes no sense because these are not deeply religious Fanatics even they are fanatics but not from a Muslim basis that hatred is something that Hashem excites hasem blows winds because that's what this nation needs at this point our enemy is an extraordinarily inexplicable phenomena and they must be eradicated because the hatred is so vinous so permeating the essence of them when you're dealing with an entire generation remember Hitler was somewhat influential over the 30y olds the real danger in house to house there my friends there are two very different perspectives I believe we should have on these times one is and you excuse me for saying it at this very moment a sense of Celebration a of dread because we are in Mortal Danger we are in Mortal danger and it's very scary times and I'd like to finish with one last observation and that is as you're well aware from Gaza there are many missiles that have been fired since the beginning of this war less than 10 days ago 6,000 missiles have been fired from Gaza to Israel many times under 10 km many times within 2 km and while it's true that the Iron Dome is quite effective and very impressive the Iron Dome shoots down between 90 sometimes 97% of the missiles that are shot what that means in plain language is there are about 300 to 500 missiles that should have landed on populated centers and by all natural accounts this should be thousands maybe tens of thousands of dead Israelis do you understand what 300 missile 300 Rockets landing on population centers means the destruction the devastation is beyond description yet interestingly enough there are some casualties but a minuscule amount a tiny amount and G the question is why for some inexplicable reason these missiles seem to miss they're fired and they land in open areas they fired right directly close to population centers and they land off Target it and it's very hard to explain and a Hamas Commander was asked the question a 4-year-old can aim better what's with you guys and listen to his words he said these words we do aim our Rockets but their God that changes their path in midair and if that doesn't convince you yet listen to the words of a secular Israeli who was a commander of an Iron Dome Battalion and he explains that the Iron Dome is is very sophisticated from the moment the rocket is launched from Gaza it begins tracking it it'll tell you the trajectory tell you the speed tell you within 200 M exactly where that missile will land now
