[Music] when the doctor came in to the recovery room and told us what she suspected felt like the four fell out from underneath me it's the absolute unknown of what your baby's future life is going to be like you walk into a war you don't know what's going to be him but how the child is going to turn out there's so much out there that you can access but if you don't know how to connect to them where to look you're not going to find it the needs of families that have children with various special needs are incalculable the alum is a resource center when any parent of a child with special needs has a question has a need to talk to somebody they can call up your alum and there'll be someone on the other line ready to answer their phone calls and help them and guide them and hold their hands through these most trying moments whether it's therapies whether it's equipment whether it's funding from the government or finding grants that pay for different things they are so crucial in the lives of every single one of these families and the team of yeah alone picks up the level of information and parents can get the correct guidance they cure and connect them to the right help just having an extra set of hands and an extra support in whatever form it can take is crucial this isn't a journey that you can embark on on your own it's not something that you can do on your own to have an organization that has done the research that has the backing that has the emotional support it can carry a family can carry a mother father so so many ways is a tremendously vital organization i don't think that a community of our size and the community of claudia's raw which is continuously growing can properly function without an organization like this there is a lot more that yeah alone can do and we want to do and we need to do for this community but we're limited we're limited in the resources that we have to be able to provide more resources for the community if we had more resources if we had a larger budget there is so much more that can be done we hope to be able to grow on what was built and be able to provide any type of service whatever is needed for claudiosol [Music] you
