>> This tzaddik
had a dream where he's coming to the
synagogue
and he sees that everybody is praying
but not the regular prayer, rather
they're all reading Tehillim.
And he asked the rabbi of the shul
uh in this case it was
another person that we know.
>> [snorts]
>> And
uh
he asked him
uh
why they why they reading Tehillim.
And he says because there was a pigua,
there was a
terror attack.
And somebody got hurt.
And the tzaddik says, "No,
it was not one person.
It was a lot more than that. We don't
just read for one. There's a whole lot
There's a The damage is much much graver
than this.
Please make sure they continue reading
Tehillim."
The next day
next morning I should say
this whole thing happened.
Now the tzaddik knew that the message
from from heaven that it was given to
him in a dream was not for naught.
There had to be a reason
of why Hakadosh Baruchu, you know, in a
time where we don't have prophets, in a
time that uh
you know, the
uh there's a lot of confusion in the air
uh
>> [snorts]
>> when Hashem sends you certain messages,
you have to uh
you have to
take advantage of it and then and try to
see what else you can find out.
So he did something that
uh only few people in the world know how
to do properly.
Uh and it's only done very few times
because it's so difficult to do.
I'm [snorts] sure you guys have heard
about it before, but none of you
I can assure you, none of you know
actually how to do it.
Uh it's uh it's
it's oversimplified. Um
and he decided since he had this insight
uh to do what's called Goral Agra. Now
Goral Agra, what most people think it is
is that you just take any Chumash that
you open
and you open it somewhere and you pick a
pasuk and that's it. Well, that's a very
big oversimplification of what it really
is.
Uh Goral Agra requires a certain amount
of uh
uh steps before it happens. First of
all, the person has to fast
uh for like a Yom Kippur fast before he
does it.
Um and uh do certain types of kavanot
before he uh
uh before he uh
opens the book. And the book itself, the
Chumash that he's using cannot be a
regular Chumash, it has to be a unique
type of Chumash that you don't really
find in regular stores.
>> [snorts]
>> Um
it has
you know, just the words of Torah on it.
It's uh it's it's not the Chumash you're
going to buy in the stores. Not not
something you can buy on the internet
either.
And he has to open it in a certain way
following a certain order
uh until he arrives at that particular
pasuk. Now
because we know the tzaddik and because
he wanted us to uh
uh publicize this
um
he told us exactly what it was.
And the pasuk is
from Parashat Kedoshim
in chapter 20
verse 22.
The question was
why did this happen?
What is the cause
of this horrible, horrific attack?
And you're not allowed to ask more than
one question. And this is the answer
that he got.
And the pasuk says, "U'shmartem et kol
chukotai v'et kol mishpatai v'asitem
otam
v'lo takiy et'chem ha'aretz asher ani
mevi et'chem shamah lashevet bah."
Translation, "You shall observe all of
my decrees and all of my ordinances and
perform them. Then the land to which I
bring you
to dwell will not disgorge you."
Here the tzaddik, who also has to have
the ability to interpret this properly
hence the reason why the average person
can't do this
uh and even regular talmidei chachamim
can't do this. It's only it's uh people
that are
well-versed in Kabbalah
uh and um
of the highest caliber.
Uh
he was shocked
at this because of course the obligation
to keep the Torah the obligation to keep
the mitzvot is already something we have
for over 3,000 years.
It's nothing new.
But throughout all the generations we've
had Hakadosh Baruchu
in his mercy have patience with each and
every single one of us
with us individually, with us as a
nation.
And of course from time to time
he would send different messages. He
would send different messages whether it
was the pogroms, the inquisitions
the uh Holocaust.
And we thought we got all the messages
that you could possibly get before the
final war, before the war of Gog and
Magog that's
uh prophesied
by the prophet uh Yechezkel, Ezekiel in
chapter 38 or Zechariah in chapter 14.
But throughout all this time we got a
lot of different messages. But now the
tzaddik says, "This is a message unlike
anything else we've ever gotten."
Why?
Because here Hakadosh Baruchu is clearly
telling us
if it wasn't written, we wouldn't be
allowed to say it.
Here he's telling us
no more patience.
No more discounts.
Either keep everything
>> [snorts]
>> or you'll have to pay the price.
Whether it's
the the land will vomit you or you'll
simply disappear from the land like what
happened to
thousands of people
in the last 24 hours.
No more discounts.
No more keep Shabbat, you know, once a
year and
uh
you know, God will understand you,
protect your breed for 40 days
and uh you'll be okay.
And uh after that you can go back to
your uh you know
inappropriate relationship.
Uh with self or with others.
You know,
uh
simply put
what the tzaddik explained to us
and literally in tears is that Hakadosh
Baruchu
is giving us
a very very clear
warning that
this is it.
Whoever is going to jump on the
bandwagon now of Hakadosh Baruchu
either jump full force
with everything, with all of your
strength and all of your ability and all
of your knowledge
to fulfill everything you know.
Whatever you don't know, learn and do
it.
But whatever you do know, you know how
to keep Shabbat, keep Shabbat. You know
how to protect your breed, protect your
breed. You know you're not supposed to
look at things that are inappropriate,
don't look.
You know you [snorts] have to eat kosher
in the house and out of the house no
matter what
that's what you have to do.
Taharat Mishpacha, family purity,
learning Torah every day, everything.
I'm not saying that everybody has to
become avreichim and become Torah
scholars.
But every single Jew is obligated to
fulfill the entire Torah.
But unlike any other time throughout
their life
where Hakadosh Baruchu was simply
willing to give us in essence the
uh time
time to beat our yetzer hara, time to
acclimate ourselves to a non-secular
life
time to overcome our uh you know, our
desires for sin. Here Hakadosh Baruchu
is uh
telling us that we've
uh we're running out of time. We've run
out of time.
You know, for for something like this to
happen I can assure you that if
even seven hostages
not not 700, not 300, not not none of
these crazy numbers that you're going to
be seeing and then see already.
If if if if one person was taken from
America, if if if a a small family was
murdered in America by terrorists
literally the that country that that did
it would disappear off the map.
If it happened in Russia
that country and their neighbor would
disappear from the map.
But here in Israel
unfortunately the
prophecy that the Gemara in Masechet
Sotah says
at the end of the Masechet in page 49b
that
the leadership is going to be doing
things that are against its own people.
And
uh unfortunately because of their
treatment of their relationship with
whether it's America or other countries
or themselves or their own personal
beliefs
they're simply not
uh they're not willing
to
uh to do what's necessary to defend the
people.
And uh
they're saying that they're going to
attack back and do whatever they're
going to do, but the reality is that
uh nothing will ever bring back those
souls.
Now of course
people are going to come up with
different conspiracy theories
in the uh coming days
whether it's uh all this was an inside
job. How could it be that the the
you know the border is
you know has one day you could even
notice that there's a bug on it and
needless to say
you know a person next to it and the
next day for 8 hours there's tractors
literally tractors and and trucks and
and all types of vehicles going through
it destroying it and no one even notices
this for 8 hours. This must be an inside
job and of course you know it's very
possible and likely that you're right.
On the other [snorts] hand you can say
yeah but
you know these people were dancing in
front of an idol on Rosh Hashanah on
Shabbat
and of course you're right. Yeah but but
the truth is
you'll see other things. All these
people lefty liberals they were
pro-Palestinians. They actually like the
Palestinians and now they won't like it
so this is
all of these things you can have you can
have people going to talk about all of
these things but the truth is
none of this stuff matters.
None of this stuff matters because and
what made me laugh though there's
nothing else but
God is the one
that allowed this to happen
to his own children to his own people
because
it's a message for each and every single
one of us that is still here that is
still alive
that if we do not wake up our sleeping
souls if we don't serve
God who completely with every bit of
ourselves if it's with your prayer make
sure your prayer has more
if it's with your Shabbat make sure
you're keeping Shabbat just like it is.
If it's with your modesty don't play
games with God.
Don't be modest one day and not modest
the other day because your job is this
or your party is this or your boyfriend
is this. Don't play games with God
because I can tell you first hand
you know I've heard about these things
throughout my life I've you know I've
I've heard about all types of things
I've read a lot but to be in a situation
where you have
you know
literally
people around you are scared to to to
even say hello they're scared to like
you know they don't know what to do with
themselves they don't know if the car
that's coming up is full of terrorists
or it's just other fellow Jews.
The situation is is is is scary for a
lot of people
and
the truth is that God
is
doing this to scare and all of us in
order for us to to straighten our hearts
in order for all of us to stop playing
games with God
because once God
sees that we are going to
fulfill his laws
and we are fulfilling them and we're not
playing games anymore. We're not going
to rave parties instead of going to the
synagogue. We're not
going to the casino instead of the
synagogue. We're not going to be in you
know immodest settings or
inappropriate businesses. In so many
words if we start taking this the Torah
seriously
and fulfill just like the verse that
has discovered
all of the laws
without any sugarcoating and and and
pretending like you know we're we're
pacifying like some of these programs
that are out there and saying oh yeah
everybody should keep Shabbat once a
year.
Yeah so you'll go you know keep Shabbat
once a year make people feel good about
themselves once a year but then in
reality you're enabling them to violate
Shabbat the rest of the year. What is
that going to do for them?
Same thing with the modesty same thing
with greed same thing with everything
else. The Torah is complete and one of
our 13 principles of faith
is that it will never change.
The Torah will never change. That means
that the same laws that we had since the
beginning of of of
our
Mount Sinai are the same laws that we
have right now. We have to keep all of
them. So whatever each and every single
one of you knows do it.
Whatever you know do it
and start learning more seriously in
order to make sure that you learn more
things and do them. As you learn more do
more. It's hard for you try again. It's
hard for you try again. It's hard for
you try again just like you do with
anything else in life.
>> [snorts]
>> God
knows your heart. God knows your
efforts. Don't pretend like you can't do
when you can do.
Don't pretend like it's too much for you
when in reality you just don't want to
do it.
So anyone that is [music] looking for
ways to better his situation protect
himself protect his family from the
horrific situation that's around us
terrorism and everything [music] else
they must understand that the only way
is to increase Torah. More Torah more
life.
