I'd like to share an insight with you as
we approach the holiday of course we all
know that each of the days of the
spherical responds to one of the 48 ways
with which the Torah is acquired one of
the 48 ways to wisdom the way but Erica
pion means conquering frustration my
rebbe reb nor mine bird of blessed
memory used to say is not enough to
conquer frustration but you should
actually enjoy it how so and he would
explain that each one of us has paid
good money to buy a little box of
frustration yes each one of us has gone
into a store and bought a jigsaw puzzle
and it's not enough to buy a jigsaw
puzzle of four pieces that's no fun you
need a jigsaw puzzle of 500 pieces a
thousand people that's really difficult
and that if you can make that one
that'll be a pleasure what's the
pleasure the pleasure is a pleasure of
creativity you're creating a beautiful
picture and the process is a pleasurable
one it's a process of discovery of
insight of looking for clues as you
create this beautiful picture in life we
can also go through typical situations
it can be frustrating people that are
difficult and we just don't know how to
change them or how to get out of the
situation difficult situations that can
trouble us and really be not easy but if
we realize that in life we too are
creating something we're creating our
true selves we're becoming complete
we're becoming great and not only that
but we have an infinite creator of the
universe who's guiding us every moment
so that we can get there so we should
realize that we have frustrating
situations it's a puzzle and if it's a
difficult plasm it has inherently more
opportunity for pleasure and we should
ask ourselves what is it that a shem is
trying to teach me look for the clues
realize it's a process of creativity
to pleasurable crows process and if you
go through life that way you'll enjoy
the puzzle you'll create something
beautiful of yourself and you won't even
notice the frustration so may we all be
able to perfect ourselves put in the
effort see the beauty of what we're
creating in this world so that we can be
ready unsure for the giving of the Torah
