FACE TO FACE WITH ISIS (Hassan Sham, Iraqi Kurdistan)

disclaimer this video does not in any way reflect my feelings on terrorism or Isis this is simply me sharing my experience meeting with former members of the evil terrorist group so I'm currently at the Hassan Shams refugee camp in Iraqi Kurdistan and supposedly we are going to meet some former Isis members right now this is happening so there's human waste running through the camp uh coming directly from these these uh portable bathrooms over here get in now this uh this neighborhood of the camp is for only only for men there are no women or children here and uh it is known confirmed that many people who live here are former members of Isis okay so what we've been told is that uh a very large percentage of the people here who were meeting our former Isis Dash members uh the problem is that they don't like to admit it especially on camera so there's no way anybody's going to come and say yeah I was I was a member of the organization but uh I'm told that many of them if you would take them in the side and talk to them you know get a heart-to- heart talk then they would uh admit it okay so I'm about to enter a home here of one of these one of the men okay so we are here in this tent now uh with these young men and they were just telling us they were just telling us about their situation here don't about I think our situation is very bad we don't have money we don't have electricity we don't have feates what's this yes we don't have like fuel to put small thing for tea right right is very bad right seems like a happy guy s guy I'm not happy because it's been two years I haven't seen my family his family is in mus the family cannot visit her and he cannot he's this spread from his family and why why can't he leave the camp or go somewhere else saying because our corrupted government I cannot go back they will make me problems uhhuh [Music] he said he said like I was just when they put me in prison uh I was when when mul just got liberated they just captured me on the and they accused me to be a part of tourist Isis tourist and I have been in prison in Baghdad for two years and then they just released me but now I cannot go back to musul because the musul they don't they don't believe in the uh baghdad's uh prison uh and they say they send my names to all the governor and now I cannot go to anywhere I cannot even go to Kuran because my name is still there uh they think I'm a t I was just 16 years old when they put me in prison how old how how old is he now now so basically the story is and it seems to be a lot of these people have the same story that they were accused of being uh members of terrorist organization either it's either it's an accusation or it's uh truthful you know was not really possible for me to know but they've been serving time in prison and then once they get out of prison you know the other govern government across the border and Baghdad wants to put them in prison again so they're just stuck here cuz they don't want to get into prison again yes because they have been in trial in Baghdad you have krg the Kurdistan region government and you have Iraqi government so he has been in prison in Baghdad it's Iraqi government even musul is under Iraqi government but still they are saying we we don't believe in Baghdad because the the the government is really corrupted and there are militias there and they don't believe in anyone right and right now um what is the chance that there about 10 people here what is the chance that someone in this room was a member of Isis even if they're going to deny it what do you think the chances are that that somebody at least somebody in this room is is a member yes at least someone but all of them they were under age they were under 18 and is say you know they they they all the time they did that they took teenagers and they trained them in the camps their military camps so yeah a few of them have been with Isis but they were teenagers and but it seems like they they don't want to uh admit it yeah they don't want to admit it especially on camera because it will you know it will make problem for them they are in trouble now but the trouble will get bigger for them right but you're you're 100% sure that somebody in this tent at least one person was part of Isis I have been here in the same tent few times and you and you know who it is yeah I know I know who it is but if I know ask him he will say no on the camera right but if I'm alone with them they will admit it yeah wow and and um do you think as me as a Jewish person do you think they still have hate towards me or do you think they're on a path of repentance and trying to become better people the the Iraqi Minds that they think all troubles they get it's from Jewish people that's what their minds they they think whatever they get a war or a fight or when they displace they think that the behind the sence is Jewish Jewish or Israelis yeah I don't want to mention the country name they think the country name right Jewish state so so basically people are being nice and they're smiling but in their hearts they very likely hate me yeah but they don't know that you are Jewish I'm like the most Jewish looking person what do you watch this they don't they don't know what that is they they don't know what is really yeah give M and and if I if I told them now that I I am Jewish would that that would they get violent or what would happen they will be surprised and then maybe they will not they will be just surprised they cannot do anything but yeah it's better to not mention that I I like to be truthful with people I I would love to tell them but if you don't recommend it then I won't do it I don't recommend it uh because you know they they because I'm I'm under the impression that if they see this and and the other and they he I I would imagine they know what they know who I they know who we really are people who live in the big cities they will know I'm sure if you go to moso they will know because they have been educated but those people they never been in schools and they don't know they have no idea what's your style they just think it's a special style you have would you like to introduce yourself would would I like to introduce myself yeah like what you do what are absolutely and I am from the United States MH and I travel around the world I phone and he wants to subscribe to my YouTube channel now trust me when I say I never imagined I would have a former Isis members as subscribers hey you know whatever whatever floats their boat he's saying I subscribed your channel and also I turned on the notification perfect wow so tell him that very soon he's going to be seeing himself over here he's saying would you put a subtitle like Arabic subtitle um we can try it takes a long time I don't know if it's possible I can try I don't understand what he's saying saying whenever you go to Qatar with you he wants to go to qar we were we were
