Halachik Attention to Detail

The Halacha is a mathematical scientific approach. Indeed, there is a lot of mathematics. There are numbers and measurements with which the Halacha is concerned. You know what I mean. The Halacha quantifies objects like the scientific method since the days of Galileo. People, of course, our enemies have accused us of pedantry, of giving undue attention to detail. Yeah, even the sound is apparent. Even the engineer concerned with every minute detail which to the uninitiated eye appears to be insignificant. Even the whole cosmic order. CREATED BY GOD, created by pedantry. So is the Halacha. Because the Halacha basically is a system of divine discipline. And through disciplined action man rises above the beast and the brute. And of course there cannot be disciplined action unless the detail is given its due and given its attention.
