Hashem, Jeremy Boreing & Conspiracy Theories

Jim, Jeremy Boring and conspiracy theories. I heard a fascinating clip from Jeremy Boring that the reason why people run to believe in conspiracy theories, they believe there's this nefarious force, the Jews or whoever it is that's running the world, is because they actually find comfort in believing that there is some force out there that's running the world. Why? Because otherwise it's on them. It's on them that they're just stumbling around making mistakes. Over here, they're able to say, "It's not my fault. The cards are stacked against me. There's a force out there that determines who is successful, who's not successful, or what it is that's going to happen." But just imagine if that idea is a true idea, but you could take that nefarious force, that conspiracy theory, and replace it with a loving and kind force who wants what's best for you. How much comfort would you be able to find in that? How awesome would that be? Well, the good news is you can, because that is Hashem. We're not just here stumbling and bumping around trying to navigate life, making mistakes. Although, yeah, we are making mistakes. But there is a force out there, a kind and loving force, Hashem, who wants what's best for us and who puts our exact circumstances that we need to survive. And not just to survive, but to thrive in life, build to accomplish what it is that we're supposed to accomplish, even if we don't see it right away. But we could believe in it, and we could find comfort in the fact that Hashem is running the show.
