about five years ago my son had his
first generalized seizure for my wife
and I was one of the scariest moments of
Our Lives we have no idea what to do we
were completely untrained and the best
we could come up with was to put them in
the back of the car and drive into the
ER there was no hotel in the
neighborhood that we could lean on
I just felt completely helpless I never
wanted to feel that way again fast
forward a few years the future
coordinators of Hotel Metro West
approached me and asked me if I wanted
to be a part of the first class of new
EMTs to to join and start and found
Hotel Adventure West and my answer was
an absolute resounding yes I thought
back to that day when my son had his
first seizure and I wanted to make sure
nobody went through that
after two years after taking hundreds of
calls and having helped so many people
one of the calls that I think of the
most is when I actually responded to a
three-year-old having a seizure I was
able to provide not only excellent and
Quick Care on scene but I was able to
provide follow-up care to the parents
who went through we were going through
exactly what I had gone through a couple
years before
and that's that's the key for what makes
hubzella more than just an ambulance
service it's a Lifeline for the
community thank you
