Holy Wars: Isaac, Jacob, Ishmael & Esau - The Roots of Judaism, Christianity & Islam

in general people shouldn't look at the Torah in a superficial level but rather as a way to understand reality and when we look at the dynamic of Abraham yit and Yakov and we see the different challenges that they're being faced with in the Torah we can see a lot of those same challenges happening in the world today it's interesting you mentioned because really there's a tradition that everything that's happening right now in our lives you know 2023 we can look and find it in in the Torah in the Bible and in specifically in the stories and the timeline that we read it reading the Bible out loud as a group we read stories for example right now we're reading the story of Isaac and Isaac giving birth Isaac giving birth to to Jacob and as Jacob and Esau yov and as and it's like those stories come to life spiritually and we're meant to look into the Torah and then see how it reflects and how we can see it in the current you know current things that are happening in our personal lives in the world and and that's that's a tradition that goes all the way back that's that's something that the Jews have been doing almost forever looking into the stories of the Torah and seeing how they're playing out in the the different uh so to speak backdrops of time um when we look at the personality of the characters when we look at the personality of of yitzak when we look at the person it of his Nemesis ishma right there was a dynamic where him and ishma are having this this conflict to the point ishma had to be removed from the land right like we see that clearly and then you see later on the the progenitor the main progenitor of yak was yakob and then yakob has his brother ASA now Ishmael according to our tradition is connected to the the the the nation that's connected to the Arabs right who one way or another and then we have another tradition where Asaf is connected to the the people of of Adam right and which again in in more English would for people to feel what you mean is uh the secular culture Greek Rome yeah Europe America the bases the bases of America and really it started in Europe because again don't forget from Europe we then went overseas to America so really it's Greek and and Rome and the development of this idea of this modern you know secular you know Society so there we're looking at right now in the world these are the main players in this conflict that exists today so how would we understand the some of the ideas that the Torah gives us about ishma and ideas that this Torah gives us about ASA that could allow us to understand what Isaac and and what yakob is dealing with today yakob in in in in in yit being a you know the progenitors of of of of the Jewish people Ben Israel so we're seeing this these parti the the these weekly portions we see all this conflict so how do we understand these personalities and how could it relate to what's going on today well that's interesting uh actually fascinating if you people that will be chosen by God to represent and teach God's ways in the world and so they're they're fighting over that on the one hand though we see that that asov rejects it but at the same time he's fighting against it the interesting thing though is if you see it's funny the common commonality between both the children of Asa and the children of ishma which today is Islam and Christianity is that they're both fighting and contending CU they both are trying to present themselves as the chosen people Christ Christianity started first and they said that God threw out the Jews you threw them in the garbage of course they are convenient for their version of the story and it's really insane really if you think about it they chose to take one of our brothers a rebel that went off the path and uh made a lot of damage but anyway one of our brothers nonetheless to worship and even going so far as to make him into a god a false god which is idol worship so they took one of our brothers made him a God and worshiping like the way what the way the ancient times they worshiped Idols worship him like an idol and at the same time with all this love and and and devotion and connection that they're attributing to a Jewish boy nice just just simple Jewish boy they're killing and murdering in the name of God his brothers they hate and kill so many Jews over the course of history till today they're still involved and again in modern times the the really the the the the the continuation of Rome they became a bit more doile you know right now they're not involved in of type of approach as as the Christians is that you know we're the new chosen people we're the real chosen people and we will be the chosen people till the end replacement Theory replacing of course want you he wants us as if they came and behaved any better the the Muslim nation of peace came in with war again convert or die and until today we see what Jihad and and radical Islam Islamic approaches are till today you know they want to just murder and kill blow up blow themselves up and blow up whoever they can and it's interesting the Jewish religion also has a concept of dying for Hashem but it's interesting we we choose to live for Hashem and when people come to kill us so we accept that that and we die for Hashem when people come to murder us their idea of of dying for Hashem is going to kill as many people as you can and in the process dying for Hashem it's a very backwards sick mentality and the the truest deepest sickness of this is that ultimately the common is both the Christians and and the Muslims are trying to eradicate the Jewish people whether physically or spiritually meaning today the Christians are involved in trying to cause us to convert and join them they're not coming with a sword they're coming with a smile and a hug and saying let's be together let's be one we you know and and follow us of course because we know better you know the student trying to tell the teacher that they know better Islam is still involved in physically destroying murdering the Jews they want to physically murder them and then of course they want the whole world to become Islam the two greatest most powerful religions are both saying get rid of the Jew whether it's physically or spiritually and we're going to take over and ultimately that's the battle now it's interesting with these two Mega Powers Mega Powers Christians which are billions and Muslims which are billions and growing strong we this little tiny dot where we 15 14 million people and we're still here there's no reason why we should still be here according to all rules of logic and nature and of History we should be gone because we we should have been swallowed up by both of them or either of them but we're still here because the truth is God did not reject us God did not throw us away God said you know you got your fixing to do but I'm going to fix it with you and in all the suffering that we've been going through for thousands of years is actually God saying because I love you and I will never replace you that's why we have to go through what we're going to go through but we're going to go through it together and in the end we'll be together and all these false lying represent ations of God's religion that is trying to get rid of us they're doomed for failure and if they haven't learned it by now 3,000 years of trying then they should get the point they'll never succeed in getting rid of us because we're hashem's Eternal people chosen forever well you know the thing is it's like um when you think about the the the the the one of the main issues why there's so much hostility and you you pointed it out why there's so much hostility towards Jews is that these other groups have created an ideology that could only exist if the Jews are not successful right that's the only basis of Christianity and Islam only exists that if Jews are not successful so well I would like to say not just not successful not here not not here not here whether physically or spiritually meaning either we could we convert to their religion or they kill us in either case so that's what they they really want to get rid of us but you're right not successful is a soft way to put it that not successful and from the standpoint of showing how much of a thorn in the psychology and the message that us being us coming back to this country or this nation or this land in 1948 right and everything that we're doing and everything that we're moving forward and it's like you know it's interesting enough you know as much as United States has been supportive of Israel through this process since um October 7th however they're also giving monies and supporting our enemies and it's like when you look at Hamas Hamas gets money from Iran we look at hisbah hisbah gets their money from Iran hisbah has over 50,000 missiles you know we know the thousands of missiles that exist in in in in in the South with Hamas but the point is that funding comes from Iran and so we're seeing a collaboration between ASA and Ishmael right we're seeing that collaboration ASA being America and Ishmael being Iran and all the other being the being the Muslim nations and so we're we're seeing we're seeing that relationship play itself out and the world's looking at it and not understanding that hey these ideologies that exist today can only say that we're the holy ones that you're saying that we're only the righteous ones if the Jews are not successful or not here so we're in the situation where there'll be these two giant people that are that are consuming the world the been the children of of Ishmael and the children of ASV which again children of asov are America and Europe and the children of of isma are the Muslim nations specifically more the Arab of Arab descent but of course they're they don't mind anyone that wants to join joins and and they're really trying to consume the globe you know the the one each one wants the entire Globe to be theirs because the the foundation of their beliefs are our way is the only way the funny thing is Israel is being labeled as an aparte state St as a racist State Zionism is racism which is a big lie that was started by the UN and aparte big lie from the UN there there are and I I every day I come to work here in in Jerusalem I see Arabs and we say hello to each other Arabs and Jews live together in in Israel the only place where Arabs and Jews live freely where there's no aparti is Israel the the way that the Arab states are not aparte is because they kicked us all out they tried to kill us we have to run for our lives they stole our money we're not there so they're not aart but if if we were living there imagine how we what we be dealing with so it's funny they want to turn us into the devil when we're the only nation that tolerates all religions and and and it's funny we're the only religion that says you don't have to become us to to to to earn an eternal life in God's world we believe that we all have a place in God's world for who we are no one has to change for God to accept them that's it's such a fallacy it's just a silly idea in order for God to love you and accept you here are some conditions no God's love is unconditional he loves the Jewish people unconditional and he loves any people that that that that believe in him and want to serve him unconditionally no conditions you don't have to become someone else or something else to have a connection to God the creator of the of the universe and of all the worlds we and we teach that and then and it's there's no Supremacy here I am who I am and I'm proud of it and I teach you to be proud of who you are to be proud of it go God loves you for who you are you don't have to become me for God to love you certainly I'm not going to become you and that's that's that's actually you diversity within Unity that's the real perfect United World everyone else has the idea is either that there is no religion there is no God we're all one you're not me I'm not you I don't know who I I you are or they want to be consumed either other Christianity wants to consume everyone and say you all got to be me and Islam says you got to all be me it's it's it's it's a it's really Insanity that that that a conscious thinking World a modern world 2023 University students they're not conscious enough to be objective and look at the world and call a spade a spade see reality for reality it's like the Matrix is not it's not Fiction it's real everybody's sleeping and dreaming their own nightmares or or fantasy dreams and and it seem like everyone is missing reality except a few people you know and I want to point out that it's amazing and I I'm so inspired to see Muslims that reach out to me online and they have these videos where they're sharing their stories and their perspective of truth and how there is tolerance ultimately people that want to see truth and want to live together there is a way and I see it you see it happen unfortunately the masss are getting caught up in the hysteria but in the end of the day and this is I think the path for tomorrow for the tomorrow we're all dreaming of is let's focus on what we agree on and if we start with what we agree on we have plenty of time to get to arguments by the time we get to the arguments there'll be peace we'll be tolerating each other and they'll be everything will be beautiful so if we focus on what we agree with and what we have in common instead of what we don't agree with and what we want to get rid of that's the solution to the problems right now again we're I'm not touching on the specific issue of who Israel belongs to that's a silly discussion to begin with because it's the only land in the world that the actual Bible says is that it belongs to somebody every other land is arbitrarily belonging to whoever is holding on to it with power they took it by power and they're holding it by power the only land that has nothing to do with our power is Israel because it's God's gift to the Jewish people and you know it's all it's a crime to want a Jewish State how dare you want a Jewish State there are enough Muslim states and enough Christian States why can't there be one Jewish State the whole thing makes no sense when you really look at it objectively yeah and you know and it goes to the struggle of really I mean it comes down to the struggle of the human ego you know because the the anybody like people who believe in Christianity believe in the the story of creation that's in in the in the Old Testament people and I'm using Old Testament instead of the Torah because that's how the Christians view it same thing with Islam they have the same Narrative of creation these types of things and when you look at how the Torah is designed and how it it it brings us into the the creation of of everything that exists and and we become familiar with familiarized with it we build a relationship with it and then we go into the creation of of Noah and and and his sons and then from his sons you know a new world cre it's it's so clear it's so clear what how the world was designed but the thing is the future is this is the idea of Judaism like you said beautifully it's like we don't try to convert people right so the basis that the that we I'm sorry I want make it very clear if we have a chance to really communicate to people out there it's not because we think they're better than them it's because we don't believe that they have to become something else to be what they are meant to be to bring out their greatness and their purpose everyone's unique
