I didn't know Jews were like THIS

Wake up one morning, my [music] mom starts screaming, "Oh my god, oh my god, wake up. Wake up. Look at the news. Kuwait just became Iraq." When the war happened, 1990 war, the Gulf War, we're on vacation in Spain. I got up and heard them all listening to Arabic BBC radio. We heard the news. We understood what's going on. My dad goes, "Okay, we're going to pack up and go to Jordan." We went to Jordan. I started clean up the house with my mom. There's a TV here. I turned the TV on. They have a couple extra channels that we had in Kuwait. One of the channels had what looks like a Sesame Street [music] and few seconds I'm like what language is this? Suddenly somebody says shalom. First was shocked to my core. Oh my gosh these are Jews. They look like us. They have ears and eyes and whatever. Then commercials will come up and mom's hugging their children and feeding them yogurt and stuff. I'm you don't hear these things about Jews. They're supposedly hunting Muslims in the street. This is what I was told. >> [music]
