Is There Such A Thing As A "Quasi-Apikores"?

Hi, this is Double L, asking with that question and answer series, where in a short period of time, we try to give a short answer to a very long question. Is there such a thing as a quasi apikoros? A quasi apikoros is like being a little bit pregnant. No. And I've mentioned this in the past, where it says, "If you serve God with all your heart and with all your soul, then this is the reward." Be careful lest you turn away from God and you serve other gods and bow down to them. So, Meshe Spritzer said, "That's it. It's a binary choice. Either I'm serving God with all my heart and all my soul, or I'm bowing down to a vote of Zara." And he said, "Yes." Cuz if God is not God 100%, then he's not God at all. In order for God to be God, you have to say that I accept that Kadish Baruchu 100%. And if I say, "God, I'll take 612, but this one mitzvah not." Then you're you're not serving God, you're serving yourself. Because you've basically said how much I'm going to allow God to be God. Now, could it be that you have um het- heterodox ideas? Well, that's why the Rambam wrote the Yod Gimmel Ikrim. You can believe whatever you want as long as it doesn't violate these 13 principles. So, if you come up with a wrong idea or something like that, that doesn't make you an apikoros. Uh but uh it makes you wrong, but it doesn't make you an apikoros. But if whatever you have to say comes down to there's no God, there's no Torah, there's no T'chias Hamasim, there's no Mashiach, at that point, you are Chutz La'Machaneh, and you are no longer a Torah uh Jew. You're still a Jew, cuz you're born into it. You know, can't get get rid of it like a All a Christian has to do is say I don't believe in Christianity and he's not a Christian.
