Israel Uncensored: EU Head Accuses Jews of Stealing Parts of Israel

before there are many rabbis on the station here at the land of israel network who have their own shows who speak words of torah on a regular basis i am not a rabbi but it's uh nothing there's no coincidence here that we're going to be talking about this story on rosh horish and we'll start with the news article which i saw the other day on the times of israel so this is how this story begins you have a gentleman by the name i think it's jean or jean or i don't know what uh acelborn he is the closest thing europe has to an elder statesman this according to times of israel he's the continent's longest serving top diplomat having been luxembourg's foreign minister for the last 16 years widely respected what a wonderful guy right he of course has been a staunch supporter of what he calls the palestinian cause and one of the most outspoken on israel's potential application of sovereignty to parts of judea and samaria so there you have gene or john i don't know how to pronounce his first name acelborn they're from luxembourg okay so far so good he said the following quote an annexation would be contrary to the security interests of the whole region including israel so let's we can dispute that as i've done many times before disputing the claim that annexation or the application of sovereignty would hurt israel it would actually help israel all right he made these statements at a virtual meeting of eu foreign ministers with u.s secretary of state mike pompeo this past week and then he went on in an interview with the german news magazine dear spiegel he said the following in the middle east which is strongly shaped by religion one could also say that an annexation violates the seventh of the ten commandments thou shall not steal an annexation of parts of what he calls the west bank would be just that stealing he said so let's try to understand this a european union leader accusing jews the jews of israel of stealing parts of the land of israel let's let's take a step back let's let's remember jews who are from judea are being accused i don't think this guy is a clergy member okay he actually admits he's i'm not an expert in theology but a european union leader accusing jews of stealing parts of the land of israel and that's how this goes back to my dvar torah sharing a little bit of torah with you here today again let's remember what he said jews are stealing parts of the land of israel stealing so i opened up the very first passage in the entire bible the book of genesis bereshit and the classic commentator the most well-known commentator rashi and his famous uh commentary on the ver i'm talking very beginning the very first passage in the torah in the bible in the book of genesis he says the following berry sheet in the beginning of he quotes rabbi yitzhak who said really he's asking a question god didn't have to begin the torah with the story of creation but maybe from the first commandment given to the jewish people which was counting the months of the year and beginning with rosh that was the first commandment given to the jews you can go into the book of exodus when the jews are in egypt and the story kind of takes a break for god to give us this commandment to count the months to count rosh to use the moon declare the rosh the first day of the month so he asks he asks here rabbi yitzhak why didn't god start with the first mitzvah would have been logical right that that makes complete sense it's a great question right and rashi answers the question okay with his brilliant brilliant response it says here it began thus because it wished to convey the message of the verse this is rashi talking the power of his acts he told to his people we're talking about about god here in order to give them who is them the estate of nations so that if the nations of the world will say to israel you are bandits for you conquered the lands of the seven nation who inhabited the land of canaan of canaan in other words if the people of the world come and say to the jews just like this european union union leader you are thieves you are criminals you're going against god you're here he said you're going against the commandments you are stealing the land of israel and rashi saw this happening he knew this was going to happen thousands of years later so when that happens says rashi here is your response the whole earth belongs to the holy one blessed be he he created it and he gave it to the one who is proper in his eyes and then it goes on in other words the reason the first paragraph the first chapter the first verse in the entire torah starts with the creation is to say that god calls the shots period and when god says that the land of israel belongs to the nation of israel that is how it works that is what he wants he created the world he decided who gets what portion he gave the arabs arabia he gave other people other lands around the world but rashi knew he knew that somebody and here you have it here today it's unbelievable coming and accusing the jews of stealing the land of israel stealing parts of judea we are jews because we are from judea and we are accused being accused by the european union the chutzpah being accused by them of stealing it goes back to that very first line in the bible from thousands of years ago when they come and accuse you of stealing this is the answer god created the world he decided who gets the land he made the call it's his decision and we are not thieves we are not bandits jews are from judea so that is my dvar torah of the day of the week to this guy gene or john or whatever his name is assal born from luxembourg who had the gall to accuse the jews of stealing parts of the land of israel given to us by god as explained in the very first passage in the bible so maybe we could just wrap up today's show right on that note but there is a lot more news that we want to talk about but i just find it fascinating fascinating here how the bible is alive today thousands of years later whether it's this paragraph this passage or others you see it befolding here in front of our very eyes anyway moving on another here's another guy who looks completely deranged okay roger waters co-founder of pink floyd just take a look at him i mean he has been doing too many drugs let's be honest the guy is not all there parents if you want to discourage your children from getting involved in heavy drugs just have them watch a clip of roger waters go off on one of his rants and in this case as reported by memory roger waters went on hamas affiliated television and started started calling sheldon adelson names right-wing fascists the racist the bigot who he says controls president trump and believes only jews are fully human this according to roger waters he said that adelson is a puppet master pulling the strings not only president trump but also of mike pompeo and of david friedman who whom waters referred to as greenberg of course that is just a typical anti-semite greenberg goldberg whatever it's just it's the jews folks it's in his mind it's the jews doesn't matter what their name is greenberg or friedman or goldberg it's the jews who are pulling the string this is classic classic anti-semitism from this nut job who pink floyd by the way from what i understand they won't even talk to this guy roger waters they won't have nothing they don't have anything to do with the guy because he looks like the unabomber he looks like a lunatic rogers what goes on to say adelson believes that everybody else was put on the earth to serve the jews and the establishment of a greater israel that includes all of jordan and what he calls historic palestine which is a state which never existed um he calls adelson a crazy guy unbelievable uses profanities go take it just take up a look at the screenshot of roger waters here so there you have two stories roger waters coming out against israel and the jews then you have this europe you have the european union guys saying that israel uh or a bunch of thieves of criminals and now and now you have turning to uh the jerusalem post you have so-called pro-israel democrats warning warning against annexation all right some of israel's strongest supporters and maybe we can question if they are truly israel's strong supporters i'm talking about those democrats in the u.s senate who warned this week israel against extending its laws to parts of judea and samaria they call the west bank in a statement released on friday including including senate minority leader chuck schumer who's jewish as well as senators ben cardin bob menendez they said that unilateral annexation runs counter to those long-standing policies and could undermine regional stability and broader us national security interests in the region more of these end of the world threats if jews apply sovereignty to judea and here we're getting it from these democrats in congress they this is not the first time they released other statements uh several weeks ago we talked about on the show as well um these uh i guess i guess the difference here is these people are considered to be pro-israel maybe that's the difference the statement released adds that quote real diplomacy via degra uh sorry direct negotiations uh is the only path for a durable piece for that reason it has been consistently um it has consistently been the long standing bipartisan policy in congress to oppose unilateral action by either side of course they never opposed unilateral action when israel pulled ten thousand jews and pulled every body that was buried in the ground out of gaza in the name of peace for the sake of peace which was a horrible mistake when that unilateral action happened you never got a letter from democrats in congress or the senate saying israel should not take unilateral action only if it's a a smart position a pro-israel sound position that betters our security when that happens then they open up their mouths and say no our policy has been nothing unilateral so they're a bunch of hypocrites okay first of all and again we have this issue of claiming that if israel takes over more land we will be less secure not true never happened every inch of land that was turned over became a firing range a firing launching pad rather a launching pad for terrorism we've seen it time and time again so i turn to these democrats and i say maybe it's time to worry about your cities and your districts which are falling apart all over the us with racial tensions and riots and everything else going on it's amazing how these people have so much time on their hands you would think that these senators are so busy fighting the corona doing something promoting racial equality quelling these riots controlling the streets supporting the police whatever it is okay you would think they would be so busy but no they have plenty of time when it comes to criticizing israel calling out israel and what is this all about really okay what is going on behind the scenes while these people are preaching we need peace we need compromise we need israel to make concessions what's going on report here in the jerusalem post sums that up nothing new well maybe this particular report since it's a new report but it's nothing new over the last generation plus palestinian here it says i say arab children being systematically taught to hate jewish israelis and violently resist a jewish presence in israel a comprehensive review of palestinian school textbooks has found study by dr aron gross and our good friend david bedine looked at 400 school textbooks published between 2013 and 2020 we're talking about books used by the palestinian authority and more than 100 teachers guides um they checked out these books to see what the kids on the other side what the palestinian authority children are being taught and as we know if you want to know when people ask me i talk to a lot of groups here in israel i talk to journalists i talk to groups when they ask me do i see peace in the near future this is what i talk about how can there be peace when the next generation of arab kids are being indoctrinated into hating israel hating jews are praised for wanting to be martyrs when you have town squares and this article mentions the work done also by itamar marcus of palestinian media watch who talks about a statue of a suicide bomber outside a school for girls in bethlehem a high school under the palestinian authority what do you expect when you walk into school every day when these young girls 14 15 16 year old girls are walking into school and they are encouraged to be like this female suicide bomber they should look up to her literally they should look at her uh her likeness when they go to school in the morning this is the the hate being taught under the pa this is why they are not our peace partners this is why we should not turn over one inch of land to them despite what the eu says what democrats in congress say what crazy roger waters says not one inch should be turned over to those who glorify the murder of jewish men women and children moving on now to corona and the coronavirus so the numbers are going up here in israel i'm not an expert i can't explain whether this is a second wave where this is part of the first wave what's going on here but here's some positive news and i said this from the the beginning i'm talking here about a potential vaccine all right reported by times of israel in a possible breakthrough an israeli defense ministry run laboratory claims it has completed successful vaccine trials on rodents paving the way to further testing on other animals and possibly human trials so you have this company ines tsiona who has been working on this and i believe i'm i'm nearly 100 percent sure that this company or another israeli company are they're going to be the first one to come out with this vaccine for the coronavirus okay i predicted it from the beginning and i know there's another company in america who's actually run by uh israelis if i'm not mistaken or at least the head guy there in the u.s working on this as an israeli guy they're also on the right path i know there's over a hundred different uh labs currently trying to develop a vaccine but my bet if i would put money down i bet on this nes tiona lab and we'll have to see if the bds haters are willing to take the vaccine i know some have already come out and said no it's okay once if israel comes out with it then it's kosher then we're not going to bds the vaccine for corona let's see what happens when those haters out there who dedicate their lives and bds by the way bds really means let's try to destroy israel let's let's not be mistaken by their true intentions but let's see what those bds haters do if israel comes up with it with an uh an effective coronavirus vaccine if it originates here in israel what would be great even even better than that is if the technology came from judea and samaria then wow that would be something but we're all the same by the way it doesn't matter judea samaria all parts of israel we are one and those who claim that they hate or those who try to delegitimize an israeli presence in judea or or samaria and or samaria what they're really saying is they don't want jews in israel all you have to do is listen to the official palestinian authority media they do not differentiate between haifa and jaffa and bethel and all those other places so let's see what happens when that coronavirus vaccine comes out our prime minister netanyahu warning yesterday that israel could be thrust into a new coronavirus lockdown citing grave predictions after there was a report leaked which predicted thousands of new cases uh and hundreds of deaths if steps were not taken immediately again there's a lot of controversy here there's a lot of politics here people are saying keep the economy open some are saying shut it down people are saying you just have to keep the masks on and keep social distancing and everything will be okay some are saying i read yesterday somewhere that the virus is already uh you know on its way out even without a vaccine a lot of different information and i cannot tell you what is accurate and i don't understand the science behind it but our government leaders are certainly concerned at this point uh it's undeniable that the numbers um are on the rise here in israel at least in my in my view again there's a there are others who are who might argue that the numbers aren't on the rise i don't know it's all to me it's it's craziness how uh somebody can analyze numbers from tests and come up with a lot of different uh the numbers looks like they're up we did more tests and that's why the numbers are higher well this time around yes the numbers are higher but they're really lower i'm confused folks all i know is i'm doing what i can and everyone should do what you can in my opinion whether it's wearing the masks or the the uh the hand sanitizer do your small part in trying to keep everyone safe that's all i could really say about that going back going back to the issue of israeli sovereignty in judea and samaria there are different call them if you will protest movements or information campaigns out there right now going on you have the yesha council you have the sovereignty movement you have the regavim organization a lot of different campaigns going on right now regard to israel applying sovereignty over judea and samaria and i'm not going to get it all into all the different positions but you have those who say that israel should take the trump plan at this point which would mean applying sovereignty over 30 of judea and samaria now and then seeing what happens later on you have those who are saying no way if you take that deal this will lead to the establishment god forbid of a so-called palestinian state you have all these different opinions on what israel should do or sorry or shouldn't do i like actually i liked an op-ed written by michael freund in the friday jerusalem post i don't have it in front of me but michael freund said something to the effect of yes to sovereignty no to a palestinian state so go check out michael freund friend of mine check out his column from friday's j post which i think i think is the best way to go sovereignty yes no doubt trump administration has been been the most friendly administration towards israel in our history so there are parts of the deal which we like parts we don't like but i agree with friend sovereignty yes palestinian state no so but you can go online you can check out there's so many different groups out there all of them and right now as we speak here not too far away from where i'm standing you have vigils if you will being set up outside the prime minister's office different parts of jerusalem you have ad campaigns on buses warning of the dangers uh the hidden dangers of a some not so hidden but in terms of potential potential hidden dangers in the plan if in fact it would lead to the establishment of a pa state which i know is an existential threat to the state of israel so no to a pa state and i think that's really going to do it for today folks i mean we got a little torah in we got some news in we didn't
