With dangerous hail larger than the size of golf balls, windows were damaged and cars were dented. One little child immediately connects this event to the biblical plague of Hail, and, recalling the Midrash (oral tradition) that during the 10 plagues, the hail had fire mixed in (a miraculous component to the plague) warns his siblings to watch out not to get burned by the fire. As to why it would fall in Monsey, his answer is that it must be because of the Egyptians who live across the street!
