Right now, there are so many things out of our control. The world feels heavy and scary, and many of us are searching for ways to connect, even from afar. We can always keep our Jewish homeland in our thoughts and our prayers. We can pray for the safety and happiness of children and families everywhere. And we can always sing. So together with Rabbi Daniel Sher, let's sing and pray for that safety and happiness right now. [Applause] May the source of strength who blessed the ones before us help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing. And let us say amen. May the one who blessed our ancestors protect Medina Israel, our homeland of Israel. Safeguard its inhabitants from every corner, inspire its leaders with wisdom and courage so they may steadily bring peace across the region. Strengthen the hands of those who protect it. A land that has known and enduring pain also has an enduring strength. one that bonds its people with hope and perseverance. Let every child of its land sit beneath the vine and fig tree unafraid. Shall the phrase nation shall not live sword against nation bring hope and healing to a region so badly in need. Bless those in need of healing with the renewal of body, the renewal of spirit.
