Enjoy. song: Keys to the Fire LYRICS: The First was lost to fire and sin, Idols and blood, where truth had been. Immorality darkened the land, And judgment struck by Hashem’s hand. Tisha B’Av, the cries still ring, When flames consumed the offering. The Shechinah wept, the people fell, And exile came where glory dwelled. Oh Yerushalayim, how we cry, For walls that burned beneath the sky. But deeper still the pain we bear, When brother's hate filled holy air. No Temple stands, the night is long, But still we sing redemption’s song. The fire took, but did not win— We hold the hope of rising again. The Second stood in beauty bright, With Torah learned both day and night. חסד flowed through every gate, Yet hearts grew cold with baseless hate. The Kohanim stood with keys in hand, And cried aloud across the land: “If we have failed, then You must take These gates of Heaven we could not wake.” And from the sky a hand appeared, The keys received, the heavens near. The flames rose up, the brave leapt in, To sanctify where we had sinned. They gave their lives, they gave their all, To guard the House before its fall. Oh Yerushalayim, how we cry, For walls that burned beneath the sky. But deeper still the pain we bear, When brother's hate filled holy air. No Temple stands, the night is long, But still we sing redemption’s song. The fire took, but did not win— We hold the hope of rising again. Three times it’s called "The House of G-d," Two in ruin, one to laud. The Third will rise with Mashiach’s light, With mercy shining through the night. No more hate and no more pain, Only truth and peace will reign. Until that day, we mourn, we yearn, And through our tears, our hearts still burn. Oh Yerushalayim, how we cry, But Mashiach’s steps are drawing nigh. And though we walk through exile’s flame, We hold the truth, we guard the Name. The Temple waits, we will return, And build with love where hatred burned. The hand that caught the keys in flame Will guide us home in Hashem’s Name. #teshuvaMusic #jewishmusic #beezrathashem #rabbiyaronreuven #TishaB'Av #Jerusalem #BeitHaMikdash #Temple
