LTB 2014: The Attendees Speak

ltb 2014 is the premier jewish business conference which after the feedback of last year's event we felt it necessary to do it again there was a crying need for an event where people can network where they could learn where they could become educated where they could share ideas where they could frankly break out of the box and also a chance to meet with ceos and other professionals that can perhaps give guidance and support ltb stands for let's talk business is essentially proof that the firmworld has arrived to a level where there are enough highly motivated entrepreneurs businesses who can both attend and sponsor and support such an undertaking of a world-class business event exclusively for our world i go to about 15 to 20 events throughout the year and the one that i love the best is ltb for one reason it's people just like me coming from the community that i came from same problems same struggles and we're talking together about how we're going to do better what we can do for business there's a tremendous amount of jewish talent that's out there people are often under the assumption that to succeed in business you have to have an mba some sort of advanced degree or many years of experience running a huge company but that's not necessarily the case all you need is a lot of motivation a little bit of knowledge and a group of like-minded people who can help you realize your dreams and ultimately discover your true potential which leads to success that's really the point of today's event people are very frustrated that they do the same thing in business constantly and they're looking for that one idea that's going to take them out we're bringing together a diverse wealth of knowledge everything ranging from marketing to finance to seo different topics that relate to today's business what sells is what makes you special what makes you different what your customers care about what i specialize in is teaching billion dollar branding strategies that anyone can use regardless of their budget i hear speakers talking about motivation i heard speakers about talking about how to use technology and take your business to the next level how we should run business how we should talk to people and how to improve it the moment we introduce multitasking into the equation it becomes difficult and painful and laborious david crenshaw was awesome about time management i think everybody needs help with time management they're already thinking about ways they can implement the stuff that i taught in their business they're questioning they're wanting to go deeper they're wanting more information they're saying how do i do this how exactly would i approach that and i think if 50 of the audience took 50 percent of his speech and applied it to business the branding and the amount of money that we spend for branding will be so well spent one of the things that monopoly says sometimes it takes failure to get people to grow keep trying you're going to fail all the time you're going to fail if people were to spend days with consultants it would cost them thousands of dollars in order to get these ideas in here condensed into one day under one umbrella you have this manual of how to conduct your business i haven't heard a single person walk out of any of the sessions and not be blown away it's been a very rewarding experience for me to see them their eyes light up the light bulbs go on and the transformation that they truly want to make in their businesses we met people here that could possibly help us in the future everyone is interacting and talking and chatting people are serious about business serious about interacting and trying to strike a deal or strike a relationship i believe that it's worth coming to the ltb just for the networking i look forward to launch pad where we have a new group of investors and a new group of presenters going out to investors it's very tough to get an appointment even when you're in the door they give you like five minutes here we have a panel of investors who are basically giving you the full time it's a learning experience for the people that are in the audience trying to read the room you're trying to read them and you're trying to explain the product it's intense i was hoping to be around 33 but 40 was the top number i was willing to do you know i walked away with two solid investors that i think will be great mentors and great support for our um company it feels great i'm looking forward to making a lot of money with them the success of this year's event is definitely the commitment of our sponsors coming back we're the concept of ltb we bought into it instantly because we realized that this is really in line with what we do and we share the same value of helping businesses succeed the audience that participated last year the excitement that they brought to the table and when we announced it they were on board the success of it is that business is being conducted that people are networking uh people are learning about ideas people are growing their businesses and that's where ltb is growing from year to year the content is way bolder it's been an amazing experience and i know that this is only going to get bigger and stronger as we go forward i was here last year at the last one and i'm here this one and i'm more committed for the next one i think once a year is not even enough i think i think if you're a business owner this is the place to come to to learn new skills it was a great experience and i'll i'll be uh coming here as every time and it's definitely the gold standard absolutely would make sure that it's on my calendar for next year they do a great job for the community and not just as a professional company but as a service this is something that was important to the community and it's nice that somebody finally did it and i clearly see seattle in every single step by creating this event and absolutely at the event
