welcome to the uh the third and final part of our interview with rabbi hamnig about rabbi listen we don't have to say that his final says okay you know and we've spoken about um bianco's [Music] own life we've also spoken about rabbi hutter and the baby and about his the rabbit hook's uh wife i want to talk today a little bit about the rabbits and breweria and my question is that rabbi hutton i mean that was his only child but did he see in her um issues of design you know like if she would have been if she would have been a a male would have she been the rash sheba but if she'd been situation what do you say about that yeah that's no question i mean certainly in the literature yeshiva world somebody has a son that's like the crown prince you know of course that would happen by the way i was told uh that the robinson had a few miscarriages the rabbit hooked his wife yeah that's what i was told by some of the women from my father's age okay and uh and so this was the one child was very precious much of the name that it chose for her yeah yeah isn't that fascinating brewery yeah yeah yeah it's it is fascinating and uh i'll tell you a thing that i said to my father one time right after the book came out which she was she was very involved and putting out and of course rodriguez and in the book over there she has a diary entry that he's writing when she was born and in the diary entry he says that among great jewish women they're different types yeah those who are great in their own right and uh and they are those who are great in their ability to build their husbands and uh and he he hopes that his daughter bizarre should have both of these madrigas which i think you know i mean they ran they published it i think because they understood that it'd be passionate she was open to both my dreams but i said to my father that there's a piece missing here because these women are great at being mothers and and that's and he didn't include that and when i told that to my father he was completely you know he was like wow that they're really not confronted but but uh but so she's no question the great issue is a great woman my father told me that uh i mean this is well known and and i don't want to deliver too much but it's well known that rohitner did not want to reminisce for zade originally and in part of our report the central unison to uh to belgium to robbie chrisworth for a while and then he's and then he sent him to detroit uh to to be here hell broken box in some ways it was a rebbe or a charlemagne everybody kept sending him away because he was he didn't want to show them in a certain way now lady is he was very happy very very proud because regrets uh on the bloodline but and they learned together and all this but there was a truth where he he yeah and there was also one time in a time everyone thought i was going to get the [ __ ] his name was a whiner and uh yeah and uh and later years he went through terrible terrible terrible you sir but my father uh i i even went to visit him a few times when his in his last uh sickness very went through a lot he was a rashim and southfallsburg yeshiva for a long time working for the gorilla family but and uh and a big time of course and he suffered a lot so uh buddy but my father felt my father's psychologist so sometimes a little psychology playing into his reasoning my father thought that he never got over the fact that he got passed over for that [ __ ] because he it was believed among the buffalo that he's getting to shiva my father also told me this whether this had any real impact in the real world and i i don't know my father very much believed in his own abilities to make things happen then my father told me that he once pulled her understand into the cloak which i believe and said let's strategize how we're going to get you to sit in the floor [Laughter] so and you know what i came up with strategies but uh so my father always thought that he played a role in bringing that [ __ ] about now what happened with a very interesting thing that happened with me is when my mother was nifta uh so i was the oldest 10 years old my brother three orders in the barbed he was four and a half or maybe uh yeah four and a half and that was ten so uh so i my father told me later some years later obviously that that drew anderson and the ravenson approached him about the idea of taking me into the house while he looks for [ __ ] they'll adopt me temporarily and my father said it felt he turned him down but he told me that the reason why i turned him down was because he felt he wouldn't be able to ask me back they'll find a [ __ ] a year later you know that which in the end he got married later but some years later he felt that he can't really can't predict how long it will be and then and then he'll end up losing me to them he didn't want to give me up so that's kind of a real behind inside baseball behind the scenes story without my phone that's for sure so so uh do you believe and think that rabbits embrouria was was micromanaging in a way high in berlin all the years from earth israel or not no no yeah that for sure is a is a gross error that a lot of people had and but the the error was created by the fact that i had her write out in her handwriting early by mark yes and so a lot of people thought that she's actually people began to assume like oh she's the genius is really radical but it was not like that uh now again he was certainly very proud of him and but one of the things that he told me about i remember was concerning them i don't remember how it came up but he told me that that you know my that that was the brewery and she gets rid of its highness from the girls yeah he said he was like proud that shaman she was doing this that she was having some kind of anti-zionist influence and and they i know in in my time i know how long it went but for many years at least like 10 20 years they the term paper that you wrote at the end of the year and bjj was you had to read about aggressive times and write a report so it said it was like propaganda into the issue so so on that note what's your feelings about brotherhood being impacted by rabbi cook and uh religious zionism yeah so i i saw some of your footnotes very nice and and nothing to disagree with there i was told that in my father's time that in one of the circus as you point out not on both circus but in one of his circuits he had a picture of roof good and uh he was related he was related yeah he was related to the to the wife of uh of his son right sweetheart right so he was related and that's how he got into it and then they had a real close charges but you and i read rep the reader's whole thing about his relationship different style of learning than the other family was interesting man and i i learned to know how i was the one smart and uh and he's looking into safer and then he starts it was the type that left meantime i don't know but and i had a father who snuck under the porch once in mata stuff and to hear what the learning would be innocent by charles time he used to like come over and he said he stood what about tanya what about tanya what did he ever say about tanya well i'll tell you the story that it happened one time when i was about a table tree so it was a little bit like sound stick but he came he comes into the tissue and he says now the way it worked was nobody said open their mouth say a word you said by the same of your shadow silence only he thought unless he solicited it thank you and and so that was a kind of like martial sticker thing that none of my favorite had this cleaner that i had to sit there for i was not sure no and he he would do it in the yeshiva he would make gothic meals for a very select group of invitees he didn't have the answer in his house he was always in yeshiva downstairs and and i never i was never invited when it was just a meal but sri pesa and and uh and sriniv serious there was a minor layer or at some point he signaled people could come and say everyone would gather outside and then they said so i used to yes to be at the sooner so i didn't have to be in the crowds at the moment so i was a feudal student so anyway so this one time it comes and says because i i i i prevented you from getting a sheeran tanya wouldn't you prevent it wouldn't and and you know and saturday they had a fight one time with the cars and the whole thing they came along police cars it was a whole crazy thing so so it was always we were all aware of that of the conflicts but the fact that they came and and he said to them and so someone said you can't wait to get out of here so here's what he told us he said i wasn't there in the country this is what he told us he said sir i have said he said i'll tell you what i will do i'll send my tummy there to about 770 to teach about against them and whatever reception they get over there i'll give you the same reception over here no but i'm asking the show did he you know like salvation was fascinated and he learned it he learned it and he and he spoke right i'm asking you about if robert you know did it ever come up or not really well you know it's a fascinating thing that the obama tribe had a list of [ __ ] tudor and salvation kind of about students who who used to tell them don't tell your father i'm learning this with you and he learned things from their minds back but but uh and uh but never to my recollection again my father's generation the whole other generation they he was younger it was a different and i never heard it from my father either about this but he i never heard him directly reference the tanya or specific you know an idea of learning because he just per se right what what what what what about his feelings about the rebels and sodium and outreach that you probably continue that was that was in the 70s my understanding is he wasn't a happy camper about that is that correct right right yeah yeah so again i never heard him speak about but i knew from all the other i love so i'm giving you a second hand you know 858 but he was he was always very uh upset if he years ago because they they didn't know how to read those letters there's a lot of coded language in those letters you have to know how to read like for one thing in the letters if you go back and forth you see the rabbit keeps calling them and he keeps calling them tell me so that so if you understand how these guys operate that is a big battle going on where the rep is saying you know i absolutely and he's saying you know what i'm stupid you're you're you're rapping you're not a boss that moving you know chess pieces not a chessboard so so uh so now you know that was a worldview battle going on it's very subtle if you know how to read it and at a certain point where uh for example durham accuses him of something of of meaning something or hiding his meeting or something and he says you're accusing me of myself now my suffering is a dirty word and and so for to see between adrenaline somebody using that word that that's people who are very upset when they're writing it so so sort of they know you know they were the nerves were rubbed wrong and also the rabbit gave them a certain muscle over there about where he says that when if the cow when i bring a cow to his bath do i know what's going on inside the cow or the before i shut the cap so i'm kind of he was trying to make a muscle but you know do you know what people's thoughts are about the trilogy and uh and reporting the hell that there was a very poor quality of muscle and he he told robbie alaska who was in the showers at that time he said we never we can never let the world see this letter because this is subpar kind of thinking and we don't you know we got to protect the river from just getting out i mean you know i must say anger meant he and and this is really not of course the later the why don't you guys put out the letters but guys that they would never put out the letters in the in the book of letters so you know so so they definitely had uh right but i like to say but i also it was clearly a deep love between them as you pointed out no question and uh now the heimlich guys i will tell you were resentful because they felt that about trevor was taking credit for getting him out of you know making pulling on my fist of some kind to get him out of the hostages maybe she didn't take he didn't take her right right but that ever said what he said he said right right and that was a and and so the way they like to say it over in time when they say this in more recent times they say so much like still about you and rebellion and everything that was powerful in the goddamn because the voucher ever said he got out the swiss morales the other side he got out right around the time of morality and the and so that's so they don't they don't say anything worse than that they just said rep is startling tomorrow as the other side and joshua is toilet in their valuable piano snifter and he went to sherman and he dived in together man that's i always said that you know you have to it was nefter it was what's this thing that said while he was now again he would have been he was like in a semi-comatose state and he was right saying all kinds of odd things and basically uh they that's recently but you know it was not a good monster and they were very mocking on guys who said all the things they heard in their monster because they yes people they wanted to have sherman 24 hours a day and so she would go from volunteers but they were supposed to keep them out so you know yeah you have another gun like it's not in its best condition but but basically but after that time be certified but uh and and i had a father who uh sean wise i mean he lives in tifra it's very fine fella and and if you could get him to talk you he could probably tell you a lot of things what's his last name weiss yeah sean weiss he was mishandled he told me this is a tangent but he told me that rosh hashanah of that year 1990 of 1980 yeah it was same with the reshiva and there was a window open and a b came flying in from the outside went straight made a beeline a b went straight and stung the rescue and then turned around and flew back up so so he understood that that was a simmer that he's not gonna live after you there's that's a pretty fascinating episode but so uh sean wise told me that uh again what was it it remind me the question my question was you know that really he as much as told me that what they said to them you know they really franklin is the best yeshiva but there's a kenner that's they don't know daddy she was the one who clowns with math was kenneth so i i found here said you know during my bus schmoozer be honest taught me something and i was like shocked because when i was in pakistan they were regretting didn't have any kind of a relationship with guys where he would have a question right that showed me that and then i went over to that phil i approached him and he said yeah no every person comes in and gets foods there's a lot of you know insight into how to conduct a marriage and uh and so that showed me that that showed me i felt like hashem showed me that because he wanted me to see that you know the attacker was showing if you have that kind of yeshiva which i mean with that type of world i come into the basement is packed people are learning the culture so so i feel like it was more like my site right with the agent but he was able to remind me in in two places real quick there i want to go back now to rabbi hutner in berlin why was he there what's your knowledge well i know what they always say and you know if you bring it up to um you know they they always tell you right away he was never enrolled in anything he never because yeah you know and they always said you know no no don't don't bring a riot from the rev salvation girl so when she got a doctor whoever was enrolled in the ceremony you know was never enrolled he only ordered the quest now you see left after four months and he would stay for a full semester but look there was no question that in those years he there was a certain curiosity going on and and uh you know my father was once angry at me that i was teaching in ursa math about children so i had a cuddle to sudarm and at night he's being muslim himself something he's doing for his that's long so by some of my fathers before but i i was a little angry because i i didn't know i didn't think of those terms i thought you know i have to be i misogynistic think i'm doing that something for me i thought i'd do it for christmas but somehow it was my father had someone had literature influence where like you have to be muslim yourself that's the focus and i think uh [Music] berlin yes i think right when the brilliant went as part of a hashimoto and there was the idea was to be a real other know like forget it yeah who knows i mean i mean i'm asking you knowing you know the the do you yes varun the guy is could it be possible it's very hard to say you know it was many years later i i had he definitely there's a lot of stories which showed how much worldly knowledge he had my father told me that in the old days in stone avenue chamberlain building there was an italian elevator operator and reportedly used to talk to him in italian wow and and sort of brought him in the elevator operator is italian any good you know he just knows a few words he says are you kidding if i could speak italian like that i'd be working the united nations so and then then a cobra mine told me that he saw uh that he was really there from the had been reading a novel it was he came had a meeting with him and he saw a book that was on the floor you know with the careful and it was it was a a novel in germany or something like this and then uh uh rebecca lee was nifty in the last year or so told me it was when he told me that reporter said to him i had a high ticket bathroom they don't know how to use venus he says i use one business map to teach myself french he would benefit and you could see him you know going to berlin because of the culture and and the knowledge yeah yeah i think so yeah yeah what about his relationship with the stock native well it is a fascinating thing and this is something that tiger relates this uh thing i saw in your book in one of the footnotes which is the railway had this thing where he anytime people started speaking too much in the lift he would cut off shots with interesting thing like he told my father that he doesn't have chef saying go with the koizen burger by the way and i mentioned i can't have a chance then let's see he had a lifelong friendship with grimsby who's uh but then when reborn uh did the thing it was mata de mamza and there was a whole big tool about it oh boy so what they called you were three old dads said listen you know yeah we gotta find it and he said uh my father if my father allowed him to become the ashkenazi chief rob i have to assume that he knows what's going on so so we're going to cut off his it's a little bit of a situation yeah yeah maybe interesting tell me this right so now back to the sapphire yeah so with this he told he told me to tell my father he liked that fact about the people i met a year then after you from denver you know tell me report to save me he gave me my certificate so so he's just about to be on repetition i i heard from people that they said oh so-and-so is he's a certificate in terms of what he said okay take care of that guy and it's no problem so you know there was yeah what about he used to learn they say uh with uh was the only one where you were you had to what you weren't no no you weren't at burya's wedding your father sure was right right so i was told by someone who lives here who told me that uh the only person was friday and it was the relatina rep was there that moisture wasn't there again it wasn't there no one was there i know that that whole the whole liner family that they had a big curvature they reportedly treated them like uh gold yeah he definitely had some strong relationship there do you think he went back to poland to still play that i wanted that i wanted that the eastern the line of the east i'll tell you a clear
