we're United to heal at unite to heal uh my name is n seagull what a pleasure it's been being with you throughout these 36 hours um we're going to take Rachel's recommendation continue to remind everybody to give Kai or some denomination of Kai and if you've given already make sure to text 18 other people and tell them why it's so important that we are the ones who are going to raise this money for am mood we can't depend on anybody else or by luck can attest to that it's us together as a community that are going to get a mudam to its goal correct so it is correct and you know there was a lot of debate going into this campaign I'm not going to you know one thing I like to say transparency above all and there was a big debate we've been historically raising $5 million a year since we started this we never really wanted to go up you know we were never big fans of the bonus rounds whatever we raise we raise you know it's a lot of work goes into it and leading up to the campaign a lot of people around me said you got to make the goal lower and I said why and they said because the fundraising market right now is is literally I mean I could say this now for a fact it's it's more difficult than it was in 2008 it really is right and they were like you're never going to get to 5 million I said let me tell you something I don't know what we will or won't get to but we're going to try if every time somebody came to us and said you're not going to get to whatever that Milestone was we agreed amudim wouldn't be where it is today the 17,000 plus people we've helped would have not received the help they've gotten between 2014 and today I said earlier one of your biggest problems is you don't say no to anybody you know I mean we we try we do the best we can um unfortunately you know it's getting more difficult with the fact that many more needs are coming in and many more people are requesting help and we're still trying as best as we can which is why we so desperately need to raise as much money as possible but for me I don't consider not hitting the goal of failure and I make this very clear okay we have to practice what we preach we weren't going to you know we didn't do the matching campaign it wasn't something is worth we just this is what it is and you know what at the end of the day with everything that's going on in the world today between the real estate market no secrets there between the economy no secrets there and between I mean how many people in CL Ro are just giving money redirecting a ter Ro and for good reason right for good reason for all for it you know and I'm guilty of that as well how many things have I been busy with pertaining to to Israel whether it's cargo planes or other issues and raising money for that because it's important and you know what when there's a fire burning we all have an obligation to step up but as Rachel just said that doesn't mean we can forget what we still have to do in you know the bread and butter so I'm looking at the numbers now and you know what whatever comes in we're going to be appreciative with and let's not forget we're not closing down the website you can people can give money and continue to give money and we will continue to take money but you know when yummy and I spoke about this a few years ago there's a great story to how we even got into this picture but that's going to be a segment onto its own there was a question of what are the what what's the purpose what is the purpose of unite to heill right and we made it very clear the purpose of unite to heel was bringing awareness getting people the help that they need and raising the money that we need we've helped people in over 40 countries the it heel has been one of the biggest marketing for people that need help if we were to spend money on this campaign and it wouldn't be a fundraiser it would just be an expense it would be worth it just for the amount of people that are learning about amudam and reaching out for help having I mean 1.3 million viewers that have come on and off in the last 36 hours and that was the number as of 8:00 I I'm not really being able to check every few seconds now but that shows something and we've spoken about this in the past and we've spoken about it during the year you know right after unite the hill we always get a huge influx of calls and especially now between the marketing of the school program the daru preventative programming you know we've really and and that is only become a reality because of United Hill so it's something that the public gets the big thank you the people that are watching it the people that are donating and we just have to say well we need the money we need people to do what they can but we don't give up I'll ask everybody and I thank SP and he'll be back in just a couple minutes with me to wrap things up I'm going to ask everybody at least get us to one of our benchmarks uh we're at 3.86 let's do 3.9 million in the next few minutes million let's do if we can get to 4 million would be amazing uh and get us to that how with 1,800 with 3600 with 5400 with 10,000 with the 5000s with the 50,000 whatever it is that you can give give now because yes you can give all year round and unite to heal. is active all year round with all the material all the content that it's become well known for and this year boy that content was incredible and you can give all year round but obviously this is the push this is the time this is when everyone around the Jewish World the entire Globe is thinking about amudam let's make it a million area and all of a sudden we've had this flurry activity a real burst of tremendous support from our worldwide community and now with one $30,000 donation that's all we are away from $4 million it's $130,000 donation so figure it out for yourselves are there 10 people out there who want to give 3600 that'll get us to the goal for tonight tonight's goal is now clear we want to make sure to end with at least $4 million it's unite to heal and show us the unity show us that we're United together show us that we as a community are taking the responsibility to keep amudim going let us make sure that we get to over $4 million in the next few moments and as you can see see on your screen on his from the stud get ,000 30 that's what we're looking for 30 grand got it done one of our board members by name or Not by name name not by name okay but we just got it $30,000 pledge live on the air amazing that can take us over or at least to the $4 million let see what happens now we're going to be at 3.99 now we need people to take us to the 5 million Mark no but okay thank you very much TCO I will we need 613 donation we need a $613 donation to get the $4 million that's what we need based on phone call if someone gives 613 right now we will be what are we be $8 away I think if we give 613 we'll be $8 away so please somebody out there give that 6113 or give a couple of 180s as a
