Oorah's Laptop Giveaway Live with R.J.Lewis, Magician and Comedian

with me now is a good friend of mine that I just met a couple hours ago that's how good friends we are RJ Lewis magician extraordinaire spoke to Gim masit before I came up yes he said he booked you 200 times already you guys are business yes and we've been doing a lot of things together he said that you've been doing auctions camps birthday parties yes and everybody loves RJ Lewis oh well thank you that's very kind we brought RJ Lewis all the way to the heart of Barak to do some magic for us right here well one of the things I like to tell people is first of all the one thing I say throughout my show is that nothing I do is real when you see a magician take cards and make them change it doesn't really happen some people think if it changes you must have it here or you must have it under here but I tell them the truth it goes up my sleeve you see it's a lot easier but if you watch the Jack thank you for looking up I'm going to reach into the air and make cards appear out of the air now when I do this people say how do the cards appear and I tell them the truth they don't really appear out of the air just like magic actually what you're seeing is merely a trick and the cards are hidden where no one looks F me I se that something of my mouth thank you I'm sorry I have to do that my last show they said it was tasteless and I don't really eat the cards because I don't know the proper B before eating cards I think it's high8 but I'm guessing cuz they're plastic code right so anyway we're here to have a little fun with a little bit of magic I I'd like to show you something used using some sugar okay would you mind taking that I use sugar because I have no equal you see oh come on that joke was Splendid but anyway splend that or Splendid oh splend us Splendid here we go but one of the things I always say whenever I do this trick is kids do not try this trick at home I tell them to try it at school I don't know why teachers don't like me but it's a very sweet trick we put in a little bit of sugar and we put in a little bit of more sweets for the sweet and then there's a whole thing about magicians saying magic words I have to tell you the truth magic words don't do anything it's all just something the magician does to make it more showy but the words I like to use are words I read off a can of soda they are all new improved sugar-free and like magic the sugar actually disappears but I tell you what pick which hand you'd like the sugar to be my right or my left just point that's my left where I come from keep your eyes on the left hand watch we say sugar wow can I get a coffee RJ yeah there you got some sugar and all time did my fingers leave my hand except of course this one which comes off like that then it's um um okay that's a little weird actually I did that in my show once and a little kid got very upset cuz he thought it was real even though I tell them everything is fake so I ran over and said no it's like what your Zade does when he does this look I can take my thumb off and he calmed down I should have left it at that but then I said to do the thumb trick good you'd have to do it like that then he started screaming again was probably not the best way to handle that so kids don't try any of that pulling your fingers off cuz it might not work out right so anyway I want to say it's such a pleasure to be here for Ura tonight Ura of course does so much for the community and it helps people discover their yite and one of the things that you do that we were talking before I came on one of the things we do oh thank you one of the things we do is that you um ra money through this sort of uh fundraisers and then you reach out and help people in wonderful wonderful ways and I assume I'm getting this because we have our ninth winner not yet okay we're going to put that right there we have our ninth winner we have our nth winner we want to see a little bit more magic okay we're going to do a famous thing this is called the cut and restored rope trick now every kid has probably seen this trick because many magicians do it the magician grabs the middle of the rope and he cuts it with a pair of shures now I am a little embarrassed I say shizar cuz I can't say scissors now you cut the middle of the rope and you oh I'm sorry I did that wrong can I start over again cuz that would be really good you see you take a piece of rope like this and you grab the middle now a lot of people come up to me after the show and tell me that I don't really cut the rope and I get sometimes very upset about that cuz how could you really not cut a rope I mean when you cut a rope you've actually got to cut a rope you can't not cut a rope of course the hard part is they hand it to someone and put it together like that but I tell you what we'll prove it gets cut would you grab the middle put it here on my fingers have you ever been on stage before uh several times Well we have't now we're in the 52 Deli anyway here we go take the shures don't cut my fingers cut the middle you selected nicely done now do you know anything about knots yeah a little bit good you know there are many kinds of knots hundreds of Kinds there's slip knots and Granny knots and great granny knots and zav Knots and booby knots I mean there's so many knots take right here this is a magician slip down no regular slip down if I were to pull it would actually unti this one slips to any spots fact I can slip it off the rope and give it you as a souvenir wait is it much of a souvenir not much Frid not Frid not it's a not that's Fray there you go thank you now I would actually like to introduce a friend of mine okay who uh decided to come here today pardon me while I get a little something here because what I need to do next had General T's chicken no that's General ch's Chicken no no I saw it it's General Tissa no General child's chicken and it was fantastic was so so delicious the food here at Deli 52 is so good and kosher yeah I knew it was kosher I wouldn't have had it okay AR did you see the big guy outside like a big $5 bill walking around yes I did that guy is fiveish what do you think of him well I think he should have hung out till sixish no no no what did you think of him I thought he was great except he was kind of big I got I got a little scared yeah some of the kids got scared but we all assured him fiveish is our friend and of course fiveish is what we encourage encourage people to give to Ura there you go there we are and now I think I should read the winner oh okay I think so I could read it and a laptop and they're both very wonderful devices and if you had a choice of winning one RJ which one would you pick uh I would probably pick the iPad and uh I would pick an iPad Mini yeah well
