speaking to a jewish audience in that chapter the church understood it to mean one thing what jesus was actually saying is i cannot make my second coming unless the jewish people accept me they say barack obama and the jews therefore must be brought to the cross they must know about the savior in order to enable these three terms so make no mistake about this the church wants to convert the world not just the jews the great commission of matthew 28 applies to everyone into all nations but there's an obsession with the jewish people not just because of matthew 10 verse 34 and 35 not just because of romans chapter one not only because of that because the jewish people play a unique eschatological role and it is our conversion god forbid that will trigger the second coming the jews must be brought to the cross we're now a half a decade after the after the 67 war we're now a half a decade after harabayas biodenu moreover they believe that jesus is going to make a second coming by the year 2000. so there was an imperative we had to bring the jews to the cross the people who the type the christian denominations that were most interested in the jews are those who are part of a in america because of one british minister who came to the united states spreading a new gospel that the jews are still chosen that is not what premillennial dispensationalism actually means and it's not germane to this program but one part of it is that the covenant that god made with the jews has not been abrogated and they hold they completely rejected what is called replacement theology or it's called new covenant theology that the church is a new israel that is the standard in the roman church in the eastern church and the most protestant denominations until then the jews of course were chosen of course they had the blessings but they lost it when they committed the unspeakable act of deicide for killing god and therefore the churches of new israel that was the theology but he came to the united states and spread a different idea and that theology is that god cannot break his covenant with the physical seed of jacob that's not possible he was right because the tyrant says and the nobody says over and over it can't be even if they sin i will never break my covenant with them even in the most difficult chapters in the take leviticus 26 what is a very difficult chapter we were told about blessings and curses and it's very very difficult to read it's painful but what how does the chapter end verse but one day the church of israel in their exile they'll turn back to me evangelical community which often and rightly so we're suspicious but i do want to make this point if they knew that they would never convert another jew they would still support the jewish people just know that they are not interlinked are any people here who are christians but we're christians you know i'm telling you the truth so they will well they will exploit their genuine love for the jews and their belief that god that the covenant that god made with israel is forever and cannot be broken they do exploit that for jewish evangelism but it is independent of it do you all understand me but just loving us to death would not be enough it wouldn't be enough because because that's not the reason why jews don't believe in the teachings of the church you don't they have a claim you need to believe in the messiah that he came for you and if you believe in him you're saved and if you believe hath not you're dead there is no hope for you mark chapter 16 there is an eternal lake of fire that awaits those who do not accept jesus as the lord and savior 2 thessalonians chapter 1 verse 8 there is no salvation outside of the cross that is the message of jesus for jesus i do not want to mischaracterize what they believe in the fundamentalist christian world they believe that there are the world is divided into two parts those who are saved and those who are condemned to the eternal fires of hell there is no gray unless there are no one ever heard the gospel but setting that aside you must believe in jesus if you do you are going to have it and if not you are lost you're going to hell there is no salvation for you outside of the cross being outside the blood of jesus john 15 6 describes what happens to those who don't accept jesus as the lord and savior they're follow so we have to ask the fundamental question how many times does it say throughout the entire corpus of the jewish scriptures is very large it's more than twenty three thousand verses there are three hundred and four thousand nine hundred and one words in tanakh it's a very large sacred document how many times does it say throughout the entire corpus of our holy scriptures that remember when the messiah comes make sure you accept them and you don't reject them that should be way up there i mean after all cross-dressing is there a couple of times right it's the vintage cockroaches i know these epic passages from jacob's trouble jeremiah 37 all the way jeremiah 30 months all about she has i'm doing explicitly you don't need any hermeneutic for isaiah 11 or isaiah chapter 2 or micah chapter 4. it's just why in fact does it not say that let me share times make sure you accept him and don't reject him before you answer too quickly to strengthen the question we do have such warnings about a prophet meaning if we go for example we examine deuteronomy chapter 18 we're told that when we're told that there'll be another prophet like moses but then where it maps out the prophets in general that you when if they are prophets and they fulfill the criteria outline of deuteronomy 13 and 18 which means that their message is in is exactly synced with the entire they introduce nothing new that only they don't take away they're able to do things that are miraculous they're able to foretell and so on and god says if you don't follow them if it turns out they are nothing and you don't follow them i will require it of you so we do have such a warning about nadine we have a similar warning about the judges of israel in deuteronomy 17 whatever they tell you must follow them and so on so why this means we do have texts in our sacred literature that warn us that people of god are to be followed and do not reject them and don't reject their message follow them right or left you understand i'm sort of giving strength to the question so why taka why in fact do we not find in our holy writings that if you say look when meshiach comes make sure that you accept and don't reject years ago by the grave prophet and so on and so forth so our prophecies are that they'll be there are many who lie in the earth daniel 12 2 that will arrive to everlasting life another everlasting
