The Shakshuka Recipe I’ve Been Talking About

Hey friends, so many of you have asked me to share my shakshuka recipe which I finally feel ready to share with the world as I came up with parts of the recipe myself with the help of AI. So I start by putting up a pan with either butter or olive oil and on a medium flame. I dice up an onion and add it to the pan with a special spice called cumin and let it sit for about seven minutes. Then I start chopping up uh the peppers. I like to use all the colors, yellow, orange, red, and green just to give it a nicer uh look. And I think it's also just a better variety of uh flavors. So, I dice that up and then I add it to the pan. Once I add it to the pan, again, I allow the peppers to sit in there for about another 7 minutes after adding uh salt and pepper. You can taste it as you go. Make sure that it's soft before you move on. And I also add some parsley to give it a leafy taste. Um, and when I see that it's soft, I add the crushed uh tomatoes to the pan. And try to make sure that the your uh the peppers are covered by the tomato uh by the crushed tomatoes. Let it sit for another about 5 minutes so that the tomato crushed tomatoes becomes a little bit heavier. And now you're ready to add uh eggs to the pot. You can add three eggs or six eggs. I like to add six or seven eggs. And don't forget to add um salt and pepper to the eggs. Um after about 7 minutes, which make sure that the pot is covered, you can um your egg should be ready. And then you can add some parsley and cream cheese to make it look better and to and for that extra uh flavor and taste. It's also well served with um sourdough bread, so you can have that for you as well. Enjoy.
