As we are quite familiar about the
reported protests that are going on in
Iran because of the political grief and
of the of the economical grievances that
is going on over there. There has been
massive casualties, a tremendous amount
of murders and cold blood has been
occurring. There have references to tens
of thousands of people that have
actually been killed. I know a specific
story of a woman who crossed over the
border who had some uh videos of what
was going on there. And she had a video
there of a family, children and father
and mother in a car that were all killed
in cold murder by some policeman who
shot them all down.
And I'm not saying any that nobody else
knows. We are familiar that over there
is going on a mass tragedy, a tremendous
amount of carnage that is occurring as
we speak. And as of right now, nobody
has put any uh type of stop to it. But
what I wanted to mention is an
incredible thing which I have just been
noticing and I haven't seen anyone so
much speak about it and that is have you
noticed any of the public figures
speaking about this in any type of
derogatory way especially that Sadik
Adore the big important righteous UN the
UN the United Nations who are there
always for human rights were quiet for
two straight weeks until here and there
you get a little bit of a pipe up and
someone piping up and saying something
of such mild statements such as the UN
Secretary General and Antario Gutaris
said, "Oh, I am surprised by the
violence. I urge restraint by the
Iranian authorities." Oo, that sounds
like terrible, very bad. He also
mentioned that he has a certain concern
about the death penalties that are going
on that are being done to the protest
such as 800 people being lined up to be
shot in in in cold blood. Very nice for
your concerns. We really appreciate it.
But what I am more surprised about is
this same guy that you call that we that
we is referred to as Antonio Guter. when
it came to the war here in Aza when
Israel was busy trying to push it
protect themselves from a bunch of wild
animals that came in as we are quite
familiar with the level of language that
he used about Israel was over the top he
said there's a total neglect of
civilians he said that Israel's right he
denied the right of Israel to exist
humanitarian catastrophe fundamentally
wrong absolute disc destruction ction.
They have killed innocent civilians. The
neglect of life. They must let right now
the UN inter and stop and cease fire
right now halt all firing. I'm just
curious what's the difference? What
[laughter] happened that when it came to
us, these people are speaking incredibly
strong, telling us that our whole
existence is a farce and we don't
deserve it. and by the Iranians who are
literally killing mama innocent people
in cold blood. They say, you know, tata,
it's not so nice. Please stop, guys.
Where are all the protests that are
happening in the universities right now?
I just don't know what happened to
Colombia and Harvard. Aren't they upset
about genocide, war crimes? Is anyone
disturbed here about what's happening?
Are we the only ones that are looking at
this? No one is saying a bloody word.
It's an incredible phenomenon. I just
don't understand it. Even in the
European newspapers as was reported when
they speak about it, trust me, it's not
on the front page, it's on some some
column on page three in the back. It's
incredible when the amount of deaf ears
that everything is falling here and th
here and there. They throw a comment of
a nice peaceful type of nice comment.
But what happens? And of course, we know
the answer that as long as Jews are not
in the middle, then there's no reason to
scream fire. There's no reason to say
everything is off. This is just an
incredible phenomenon which I just find
just it's because it's so backtoback.
This is just one right after the other.
We're not talking about the Drifus
trials and now we're back to here
speaking about 100 years later. We're
mamish like where we're within a couple
minutes of one to the other. And the
same UN and I on purpose quoted the same
idiot from the UN that said one way
completely by them. I protest that one
should try to restrain that the Israeli
the Iranian authorities should try to
restrain and the amount of words and lip
that he gave to Israel when they were
simply trying to protect themselves and
being so medu so specific in the targets
that they were focusing on to avoid
civilians.
I find it phenomenon and from these
things as we know and this is what I
feel very strongly. I'm not a big one
who likes to just speak about politics.
I think it's that it doesn't help us cuz
Trump is not giving me a phone call and
I take it no one on the camera either.
But I think from here we should go ahead
and take a lesson for us what we can
take to it and that is always expressed
to us things that we see with our eyes
on a daily basis. There's a cloud of
tell us over and over again that
that a person with his own actions
actually proves himself wrong. In other
words, if you go ahead and leave dabing
early because I push have a meeting. I
have to leave early. I apologize but I'm
excused. I'll be okay up in Shabb. I
have to leave 7 minutes early. No
problem. It could be you have a real
reason to leave. And if you miss it,
this is very important. So you'll miss
three four kadeshim. It's important. But
if you're on your way to your car and
your good old pal that you haven't seen
in six years bumps into you and starts
talking to you for six or seven minutes.
Exactly. So then suddenly you're going
to get a big slap across the face
because
you are you are becoming as we say
hypocritical. You are kind of showing
that the six and seven minutes were not
as fundamentally important to you as
possible as necessary as you thought
that they were. Apparently, you could
have done without it. It's all a matter
of priorities. When a person goes ahead
and says something to his child about
keeping his finger in the place or why
you coming so late or why can't you make
it earlier but then the next day during
the week when his son is not around and
he's making it to Davening also that
late time 10 minutes 15 minutes late so
isn't there something that's going on?
I'm not going about let's leave the
reason besides the fact that that's a
failure. But even without that
you have no right to protest something
that you yourself are guilty of. Do you
understand what I'm saying? The Mosha
Feinstein in the Mosha Pares says an
incredible thing right in the beginning
of par he says that's a beautiful
absolutely beautiful
you go ahead and search for it like
money
and you go and search for it like gold
so then you'll understand
and everyone else compare how can you
compare gold to having fear of God how
is the two comparable but the answer is
says Ramosha incredible he says the
amount of effort you put in to chasing
after gold. The amount of blood you're
willing to spill in order to make an
extra buck in order to give a little bit
more into your pocket. That's how much
you have to put into your that's how
much you have to invest into your and if
you don't you'll be held accountable for
it. In other words, if you're just
lethargic and lazy and you're just not
up to it, not a good excuse, but at
least you're being consistent. But if
you are somewhat of a person who's
pushing and doing everything, so you're
showing where my priorities lies, you're
not going to be able to give a quick
excuse and say, "I just don't have the
call for it. It's just not in my head."
Because you see for what's important. It
is in your head. It's all a matter of
priorities of what a person decides.
Your actions prove one to the other. You
are able to prove one to the next. You
seem to be very good at forgetting
certain things such as what you learned
and things like that. But when your wife
did something 20 years later, you're on
the ball. There it is. You still
remember exactly what she did and she's
going to be held accountable in a court
of law for it also. Every little detail
is not forgotten because when
something's important to you, you're not
going to forget. If it's something that
you find of of favor, then you're going
to make sure to remember it. You're not
going to leave it as something abstract.
I knew a mis that I was told at theim
by him by one of his and he says that
they were going through his books to
number all his books. He has a whole
apartment full of books and they were
numbering it in order just to categorize
it so it'll be easy to access. He said,
"While they were opening up one of this
farm, they found inside one of the books
$5,000.
$5,000 cold cash inside one of this
farm." And he went ahead and uh and and
uh and he went and he showed it to the
RV. He went and he brought the the money
to the RV and he said, "Does the RV know
about this or this?" He said, "I don't
know." He didn't realize what's going
on. After talking, he said, "Oh, he
remembers now. He remembers that someone
came and this whatever somehow it found
itself into a book and it kind of
disappeared all that money. You know
what the Talmet said? The tot says this
man if anyone read just one chuva you
don't have to read two chuvas one chuva
of yf his memory was in is is
astonishing something that we haven't
seen in probably 100 years he remembered
every single little word and sentence
that he saw in any Torah journal that
existed in every cha he quotes hundreds
of that he knew bal $5,000 he forgot
about how is that possible what he
forget how do you forget that the answer
is a person applies himself to those
places where he wants to apply himself.
The excuses are only as far as you find
yourself consistent to being in the same
place. When a person is using that same
effort somewhere else, you don't have
the excuse anymore because here you are
busy in another place using that tactic
and it's not something that's going to
last. So here we have it, an incredible
contradiction that we are living in the
stage that we are living right now.
These same people, especially these
UN people, these people that we call the
um the United Nations who sit and were
killing us and destroying Israel had
every single difficult thing to say
about us and trying to do everything
they can to get weapons, I mean food
inside of Aza at the time. And they are
sitting here and peacefully trying to
understand why Iran is going ahead and
gunning down literally tens of thousands
or over 20 thousands according to many
estimations of people that are dead in
cold blood and women children and women
and children included by the way you
should know the estimates that I've seen
have been told we're not talking about
just men who are raising uh picket
picket uh signs.
So the answer is at least from this we
can learn about ourselves. Let's try to
live a much more consistent life. If I
find myself being capable of pushing
myself in certain places, let's keep it
to that extent.
You know, there's one of the the said
the reason why
the third meal we say on Shabbat is
called
three meals is because the first two
meals you're starving. At night time,
you're coming, everyone's happy to eat.
During the daytime, you're starving.
You're happy to eat. Are you eating lash
shamim or not? Well, let's look at your
third meal. When you're eating the third
meal and you're not necessarily hungry,
those that ditch it or those that cut
corners on it,
they show in retrospect why they ate the
first two meals. if it was for the
stomach or if it was because of who said
so
should bring the gula and all the
anti-semitism that we're surrounded by
will finally come to end and
It's there.
