you want my holy to his brothers and sisters we have the most amazing religion the total religion gives us meaning it gives meaning for life its meaning that everyone the world is looking for he was so lucky to be at or a Jew each and every week for one entire day we cease from doing any work as a set retiree the seventh day is Sabbath to our Shem your God you shall not do any work you your son your daughter your slave your maidservant your animal and your comfort within your gates why for in six days Hashem made the heavens and the earth this sea and everything in them and he rested on the seventh day the reason that we rest is because God originally rested when he created the world but why why just because when the Creator created the world he rested do we have to rest today is Zohar the holy Torah book that reveals the secrets of Torah tells us when the Sabbath comes in all are crowned with new souls to bless God's presence with shining faces the reason we rest on the Sabbath and not because of something that happened long ago it's because of something that's taking place right now every week as the Sabbath enters there are awesome waves of spiritual energy that are coming down to the world throughout the day of Sabbath we don't see them but we can feel them they're an expression of God's presence that descends to dwell among us on this day and so out of deference to God's presence that we feel we abstain from doing any bulleted work because what God has given us is the greatest opportunity of all to build a positive mutual relationship with him there is no other religion in the world that claims this and so when the Sabbath enters we make a proclamation to attest to those spiritual energies that are now entering the world that Proclamation is called the Mitzvah the commandment of kiddush there are a number of types of different commandments some commandments are called ordinances some are decrees some are called testimonies as the Torah says what are the testimonies and the decrees and the ordinances that Hashem our God has commanded the reason that some Commandments are called testimonies is because they testify to everyone about the reality that we feel so when the Sabbath comes in and we make a proclamation which is the Mitzvah of kiddush what it really is is a testimony as the great day of Sabbath begins with it's awesome holiness and it's abundance of spiritual waves of energy coming into the world we testified to anyone who wants to hear that God's presence is now here and we the Torah nation have a positive caring and Buechel relationship and that's why we have to stand when we say the kiddush because when you give testimony when you stand in court to give testimony you have to stand like it says in the Torah and the two men shall stand before I share we are so lucky to be part of the Torah nation to stand to proclaim each and every week to describe to everyone in the world what we're feeling and experiencing that there is a good and benevolent creator of the entire world how fortunate we are to be able to proclaim this reality when we do God's will we give over this message to all the world's inhabitants we're waiting to hear it from us we actually grow in our relationship with God each and every week closer [Music] [Applause]
