Why Does Your Body Hurt

How can someone know when Hashem wants a person to learn something from an experience and when he wants them to move away from a particular [music] experience? He always has to do always has to learn from experiences. That's why they happen to us. [music] Says that one of the ways that we see Hashem's mercy is that any part of your body that you have pain [music] has to do with a certain sin that you made during this [music] life or in the previous life that has to do with that body part. Uh because or else we [music] would not know how to do chuva at least in the previous generations when they could connect the two. But the point is is that there's something to learn from everything. If [music] the uh person is having a difficult day or having a good day, a profitable day or a losing day, there's something to learn from everything. Now whether a person should move beyond that experience or not depends on what the experience is, depends on whether they learned from it or not. Sometimes you're not going to be able more times than not you're not going to be able to learn all you need to learn from that experience on day one. [music] Sometimes it's a process.
